Now, a review of records shows a link to a sex site for couples and a series of mysterious thefts. UPDATE! Following up on a tip sent to TTAC, a search of California Business Records shows the company Adutlswinglife LLC is owned by a Mr. James Sikes of Carlsbad, California. The company operates the website AdultSwingLife.com (NSFW), which advertises that it supports "The Adult lifestyle, wife swapping, hook-up, Swinger clubs, adult social club, booty call, Friends with Benefits, NASCA" with webchats, message boards and other services. His bankruptcy also shows the theft of a saxophone, clothes and other items from a car in April of last year for which his insurance paid $7,400. There's also an anonymous tip on the site Hobbub.com claiming items were mysterously lifted from his foreclosed home before the bank took control of the property: A neighbor near Sikes' former home in Atwater mentioned the money problems to FOX40 News, adding, "I'm not surprised [if] he'd try to get money." [...] The Atwater neighbor says Sikes and his wife Patty had a reputation for other reasons. "They might've been in the pornography business," neighbors said. Might've been in the porn business? Just saw an option video that had a "comedy" section that they "trapped" their power crazy driver in a car with the exos running back into the cabin whilst he's claiming that "cats are for wuzzies". He passed out quick enough. Next, they repeated with sports cat on. Of course, he "passed out", but lasted longer. OK, the part about driver in car with the poisonous gases fed back was a parody and joke. But the experiment indicated a huge decrease in carbon monoxide and other poisonous elements with the cat, and the power decrease was minimal. Think car was a GTR. So really, my point is, if LTA can approve sports cat and aftermarket headers if they meet emission/noise standards, I'm sure many of us would pay and go for it rather than the obviously illegal decat way. This should be the logical way to realistically increase the use of cat for the enthusiasts, and help preserve our environment. We know how often questions on decat, race headers (no cat obviously) pop up.... BTW, I did ask LTA for standards to test to as there're Mugen headers with sports cat that meet JVIA standards. But after several attempts, I gave up as I was given the usual "let me refer you to someone else" syndrome when they obviously don't know how to handle a question out of their standard answer book. Their last recourse was "write in and we'll evaluate". I asked what basis and standards will they be "evaluating on" so I can ensure I have all the required documentation. Nope.... they will NOT state to what standards (if any) will they be testing on. -
I was just wondering if any bros passed by this area earlier today at about 7.10pm? I was there earlier but I don't know what happened. I just saw 2 vans, 1 merc and a pedestrian. 1 van was a yellow Kangoo and the other was a white Nissan Urvan. The Kangoo was pretty badly smashed up and I could see the firefighters trying to extricate the driver. I'm not sure if the driver is alive or if there is another passenger trapped inside the van. The white nissan van fell sideways and I'm also unsure if there was anyone trapped inside. The dark blue Merc had a dent on the right side of its front bumper and there was a person lying down there motionless. No one was attending to him and therefore I assume he must have passed away. There were many onlookers at the scene and 1 good samaritan came forward to help the firefighters extricate the driver from the yellow van. I couldn't stop to help as I would worsen the traffic jam and I figured I wouldn't be able to do much as well. I passed by the area again on my way home and the vehicles were still there. I was just wondering if anyone saw what happened and if all the drivers involved are ok? To witness something like that just kinda dampens your day. I just hope all the people involved are fine. -
