I am driving Lancer EX 1.5A. I am getting the ABS warning lamp with the idicator indicating "Service Required". it doesn't go off even when I restart the engine. Has anyone experience this before and how did the workshop resolve it? How unlucky I am to get this issue over long weekend holidays when most workshops are closed. Will you suggest going back to Cycle & Carriage Service center or workshop such as Chip Soon Auto?

HI guys, I have a IKEA lamp with a dimmer function. The bulb (see below) that comes with it is super hot. I asked my nearby hardware shop and they said the LED bulb they sell can fit into the lamp head, but it cannot work with dimmer. If I adjust the dimmer, the bulb may blow. Why is that so? What bulb should I change to and where can buy? My main objective is to change to a not hot bulb.

Hi all, Hmmmm, aftermarket headlamp bulbs... More power output... Brighter light, longer beam, whiter etc... (Not discussing HIDs) (talking about halogen/xenon gas filled bulbs) 12V/55W becomes 12V/90-115+W *Does this mean that the bulb is hotter? Which means that it will cause crack lines in the headlamp? I used before philips aftermarket bulbs 4+ to 5k so pretty white ($80+/pair). Very bright. Very expensive compare to china taiwan korean bulbs which cost below $20/pair, but seems just as bright... *seriously what's the difference besides the brand factor? And also I have heard white light will fail normal car inspection. But i have passed all my inspections with 4-5k bulbs... I almost tried 6k bulks but I think it will be very blue-ish and so I didn't wanna have use-less headlamps in heavy rain. I remember something fail on my inspection sheet abt headlamps on my previous car, but overall still pass and I renewed my road tax with the inspection cert. Present car is white lights (4k+) and I also passed inspection even with LED T10 bulbs. Or maybe 5k+ up then will fail. Any experience/knowledge to share? Many thanks

Good day to all, I am driving a 5 yr old Swift. 1.5Auto. The car is in stock condition, mileage about 90k plus. Recently, the ABS lamp lighted up on the dashboard. I stopped at the side of the road, off the engine and restart again. After I moved off for a while, the lamp goes off. I called Champion Motors and they asked me if I changed my battery recently. Yes it was changed about 4 months ago. They said it might be a computer problem and since there is no more warranty, it is $70+ for troubleshooting. I read online, and many others who have the ABS lighted seems to be having problems with the sensors and not the brake system itself. Sometimes, I can drive a whole trip without it lighted up until when I am about to off the engine after parking the car. It might be some wiring loose which triggered the lamp after going down from shopping centre carpark. I do not mind going to CM to troubleshoot, but they can only troubleshoot at the Pandan service centre. I told them it is difficult for me to explain the situation because I cannot confirm on the day I send the car in, the lamp will be lighted! Is there any other workshop (prefer in the East) that is able to read the error code from the ECU or diagnose the fault? Please feel free to PM me. My normal braking system still works, but I just want the ABS thing to be solved so I can have a peace of mind when driving the car. Thanks.

Saw this accident at around 11:30am at junction of Eunos link and Kaki Bukit Ave 2. A corona (1993 model) with front damage in the center of the junction. The Evo was on the traffic light pathment wraping around the lamp post on driver side. the EVO is definitely total. No sure how is the driver for the EVO. I know I don't have a photo as I was driving alone.

My head lamp bulbs keep blowing. For the past 2 months, I've been changing the bulbs and now they blow again. I suspect it could be OVER SUPPLY of current cos each time both sides will blow. Can anyone advise what is wrong? Can anyone recommend a good electrical workshop. Thank for reading.
