Where can I do leather wrap for my auto gear knob? Roughly how much?

Any bros knows where to get auto gear knob with the button to press in to shift gear and Overdrive button Function? My gearbox is not staggered type but those straight type Went to few shops but no avail.. And i realize this type of gear knob quite hard to find. Thus if anyone can recommend some shops will be very helpful to me thanks!

The gear knob on my Toyota Vios broke at the plastic part. Just called Borneo Motors and they said not covered by warranty Any idea where to get a replacement similar to the one in the car and how difficult it is to replace the knob?

Hi guys. need to to check which is better...? when you are in stationery or approaching the traffic lights.. do you leave your gear knob on "Drive" or "Neutral" I heard that if you shift to "Neutral", eventually you will spoil your Gear Box. But I also heard that if you leave it at "Drive" you are stressing the engine and the brake system...? so which is true..? please enlighten me

My Superb <Not current model> gear knob is loose and wanna change a new one. However i call local Skoda deal or XZ <stockist> with the chassis number , it was the round type. Mine was the walnut squarish type. I think its from the Superb elegant model, Does anyone know the part number of the walnut gear knob? Anyone can provide where i can buy the gear knob other than these 2 places, the price quoted was > 200$ for the normal round head gear knob. I think i saw a thread regarding the loose gear knob button before but now cant find the old thread again. Apprecaite I can get from advise from here. Thank You. BN

Wanted to get the FD2 gear knob for my FD as it looks much better. Anyone got any idea where to buy or at least something close to that? Thanks.

As ridiculous as it sounds, it's true. Got the IS250 recently. After the 1000km servicing, the gear lever suddenly felt very stiff when sliding along the slot. So I brought it back to Borneo Motors a few days later. The mechanic immediately spotted that the gear knob wasn't the original IS250 one. It was of the wrong size, hence the stiffness in shifting. In fact, he initially implied that I bought an aftermarket knob and fixed it. I protested. It had been swopped during the 1000km servicing!!!!!! Screw the thief. Comparing the fake knob with the original on another IS250 parked there, I'm positive that I had the real thing up to the servicing. Anyway, they said they'll order a new one from Japan but it'll take quite a few weeks. They even said they'll review the workshop camera footage and conduct an internal investigation. How could Borneo Motors let something like that happen? I'm furious.

Any bros out there know where i can find the extension box right below the CD Player for my Honda Civic ESI??? The extension box is to connect the empty space between the CD Player and the Gear Knob Control Box. I know usually we can find it at scrapyard, but i only know one scrapyard leh, so can bros out there recommend? Or if you have, and intend to sell yours..pls pm me too. Thanks! -

Hi, i'm using an original RAZO gear knob. But now realised that the knob is very loose now. meaning that the thread lines in the knob has already wear off. Now the know can just turn and turn, cannot tighten to the gear stick. A car assessory shop guy told me can find those shops or factories that do thread or screw drilling for those metal parts or other similiar materials. Can bring the gear knob to them and they can drill and make new thread lines again..... Is this possible? Anyone got any lobang or idea on how to save this gear knob? I really like this RAZO gear knob. Leather with red thread stitching. I tried to find a new one but cant find it. Maybe it's old model, so not selling anymore. Now, i using a cheapo one... damm lousy. it rattles alot because it's very loose inside the knob and makes alot of rattling noise when driving.

I read around and seems to find that many gear knob is made for Jap car. How abt Korean car ?? Can all gear knob also be used on any Korean car ?? Tks
