The British car marker has just released the official photos of the F-type - the successor to the E-type roadster manufactured between 1961 and 1974. Under the hood, it will have a 3.0-litre V6 supercharged engine that pumps out 335bhp and 450Nm of torque. A more powerful version of the same engine is endowed with 375bhp and 460Nm. A range-topping "R" variant will be motivated by the brand's familiar 5.0-litre supercharged V8, rumoured to generate between 503bhp to 542bhp. There is also a possibility that the ford-sourced 240 bhp 2.0-liter turbo unit could later on find its way into the hood. If you prefer not to get your hair messed up and enjoy better protection should the car turn turtle, the good news is that Jaguar will present a coupe version of the two-seater possibly by late 2013 or early 2014.
