  1. A 34-year-old male driver crashed his car into a total of nine vehicles at two different locations, in addition to causing a pedestrian to be hurt. The first hit-and-run incident happened at the carpark of Block 742, Bedok Reservoir Road yesterday morning (Feb 5). At about 9.30am, he had turned into the carpark and was making a right turn when he hit a car and then went on to crash into seven more. A 53-year-old pedestrian was sandwiched between two of the cars and was sent to Changi General Hospital. Yet the driver did not stop and instead fled the scene. 15 minutes later, police caught up with him, after he crashed into the rear of a lorry at Tampines Avenue 10. He can be fined up to $1,000 or jailed for three months for failing to stop after an accident, as well as removing a vehicle from the scene. Failing to render assistance also carries a fine of up to $3,000 and a year in jail.
