The authorized SC claimed that the fuel injectors spoilt due to using malaysia petrol. what do u think? the SC refused to let my friend claim the warranty of four fuel injectors due to above reason.

As in the title. Finally sent the car to AD. They troubleshoot and found that ignition is a little weak which is hard to believe. Coils changed at 110k and at 145k, changed the ignition wire set. Then they most likely tried and found that injector number 2 can't fire. They are now checking the electronic connections. My hunch is that there is signal from the ECU since CNG is smooth as butter. CNG "ECU" is just a pulse converter copying the petrol injector signals and then modifying the timing slightly. Either the connection towards the injector failed or the injector itself is a goner. My suspicion is that the injector is a goner. This problem manifested itself slowly since 130k which is the start of this year. At first there is the backfiring just after start up. It just disappears after awhile. I even went on a trip up north in Sep with speeds hitting 140. Now, I have flashing CEL. Car is still with the AD. Full diagnosis tomorrow. I think I'm the first car in this forum to have petrol injector failure.

Just bought a bottle of STP Fuel Injector Cleaner (black bottle). It says can treat up to 21 gallons of fuel and to pour whole bottle in.. My tank capacity is only 45 litre leh.. should I use half bottle instead?? If too concentrated will have problem??

Guys, went to Carrefour Suntec yestrday and saw STP Injector Cleaner on sales at $6.90 per bottle. Got lotsa stock left on the shelf. Best price I've ever bought before was $6.50 but that shop closed down already... So $6.90 is IMO a very good price to grab a few bottles if you do use this.

Bros, have you used FI cleaners and any postitive effects? I've personally used STP and Gold Eagle FI cleaners and it's more for cheap insurance (and of course I'm anal) rather than performance.
