my car just crashed earlier today and the outlook is not good went down to the car dealer to look for another car and he recommended the honda fit so i went for a test drive and i find that the fit is actually very fast car for its small engine, probably as fast as my previous kia koup at low speeds but the engine seems more willing to perform at higher speeds... the dealer says that it can top out at 130km/h the car is really easy to control and because of its small length from driver's view to front of vehicle, it is extremely easy to judge u-turns and tight corners interior is similar to my soon to be previous car, everything's plastic but honda's plastics seem to be of a higher quality front seats are relatively spacious, back seats are rather cramp though understand the fuel tank is only 33L, the car should be able to go 16km/l, how true is this? overall i'm relatively impressed by the car any fit drivers here? what are your impressions of this car? i'm seriously considering this atm. i will need a car for CNY so i have to buy a new one within the next few days provided i'm able to settle the bank loan and stuff for my previous car... crashed the thing even before i made the 1st payment off the installment very huge disappointment

Hi folks. I received an late-build N82 prototype unit for testing over a week ago, so I've had plenty of time to get to know it properly. I wrote a lengthy review of it over at my blog with many photo sample comparisons and videos of it in action: http://meandmyphones.blogspot.com/2007/11/...after-week.html In a nutshell, the N82 is a turbo-charged N95 wrapped up in a mono bloc body with xenon flash, Navi wheel like the N81 and automatic screen rotation ala Apple's iPhone. After using it so far, I can only say that if I could have only ONE phone on the planet today, it would have to be this one.

Sleepless nite, thought I write something on the 159 on its launch. There was no test drive on launch day. The crowd waited in anticipation of the 159. When the 159 and Brera rolled out, more people obviously checked out the 159. Aesthetically, it puts 3 series, A4, 93 all put together to shame. Beautiful curves and unbelievably good looking front end. Rear end looks like a stretched out 156. It looks longer, sleeker too. No hidden rear door handles this time but you get nice looking door handles still. Side mirrors no longer the small aero looking ones on the 156 and 147. but looking at its shape, its still pretty aerodynamic. not the best looking mirror, but def more practical. The car simply looks stunning despite the agent choosing to roll out the most boring colour, darkish silver. the brera was in black but this post will be on the 159. Ok, let's get inside. Amazing looking interior. triple gauges and aircon vents staring at you. The instrumentation cowls will just blow you away. There were enough reading lamps front and back and they all have a nice touch to it. Some gripes though. Aircon vents only turn left right up down, unlike the rotational ones previously & they're still kinda small. the centre console points towards the driver so the passenger doesn't quite get the centre aircon! Damn, what were these italians thinking? The driver feels very hot is it? Others would be no mirror on the passenger visor. How can?? even a 147 1.6 pre f/l has that with light some more! the doors don't close with a solid thud. thats not really a problem if it helps to reduce weight. but the 159 is still a darn heavy car at 1490kg. so doors close with a klang. even a 147 shuts better. strange rite?? The launch car doesnt have factory fit leather so it has to be locally fitted i guess. based on my experience, if it doesnt come factory fit, dont bother fitting here. the quality just isnt the same. the fabric they provide in fact feels more expensive. also, the rear seats don't seem to be able to fold down. i thought they would. & there's no cup holders on the rear arm rests. Strange again but maybe the higher selespeed models will have. Next, the manual shift was a delight. 6 speed, shorter throw than previous ones (GT and 147). Clutch felt good to depress, not light till theres no feeling. overall, this is one darn good car looks wise with a few minor details left out. i think the selespeed models will have all the luxuries this standard manual doesnt have. but imo, the manual is the one to get. no one needs to tell u how the selespeed works...won't get into that here. theres one last problem. its priced very close to the 3 series. with 3 series, u get rwd plus abit more body value. in other words, the 159 depreciates just as much as the 3s. but dont forget the 3s is made in south africa while the 159 italy. so u can say it is not injustice to be near 3s price. but then again, i still think its not 3s priced kinda car. i def wont buy it at that price, but neither will i get the 3s. but for those who have to get the 3s, the 159 may just change yr mind. check out for yrself and test it bcos after all, the 159 is the faster car.

Hi, all Just installed the Hankook Ventus Sport K104 and was trying out a bit along AYE. Initial impressions were good. 1. Steering is definitely sharper. Can feel car turning when slight jerk on steering wheel. 2. Braking distance is shorter now. Mean brakes has more bite, right ? 3. Can feel the road better. If road is rough, steering wheel can feel the slight vibration. If road smooth, steering wheel no feeling. Previous tyres have no such feedback. Don't know this is good or bad or just a characteristic of the tyres. Haven't try in rain yet so can't say anything about wet performance or aquaplaning. Cheers.

Just got my AVeo HB 1.4A last wednesday and have finally covered about 500km so far and below are my impressions so far: 1) Have recently top up full tank until the dispenser automatically stops and have covered about 140km when the fuel indicator is at 3/4 mark. Is my FC high? 2) FOund that the ride is kinda bumpy. Just check my pressure earlier on and found it to be at 270PSI after about 5 minutes travel to the petrol station and letting the car cool down for abt 20 minutes. The damn SA overinflated my tyres . Tyre pressure is now at 230 front and 220 back. Car feels more comfortable. I'm using the 14 inch rims by the way. 3) Couldn't find the radiator pressure caP for the car. Only saw the expansion tank. The coolant level was at the low mark. Engine oil was also at the low mark... after parking the car for about 3 hours. Have rectified both the problems! 4) The stock H.U CMI plus reception for the radio channel is weak at certain areas. have not encountered this problem before in my previous car. Anyone got lobang for a cheap but good H.U with 5cd front loading? Other than these few issues i've been quite pleased with the Aveo.
