  1. How many times have you realised that we always end up veering a little off course after we have decided on doing something? It's pretty often for me. Just the other day, I was at one of the hawker centres getting dinner. I was pretty certain I wanted to have chicken rice as it's pretty famous. Even my relatives travel all the way from the other side of Singapore just to patronise this stall. However, for some reasons unknown, I ended up with a bowl of prawn noodles. Was I happy with the prawn noodle? I was, actually. And it was pretty tasty. But then halfway through I started feeling a little crossed with myself. As a matter of fact, whenever I am at this hawker center, I always end up having the prawn noodles no matter how many times I tell myself to eat the chicken rice. Same goes for my career. How the hell I ended up as a photographer and not what I wanted to work as baffles me. I was supposed to be in a bank or something - along that line of trade that I studied and graduated from! So do I regret what I am doing now? No, I don't. But I do wonder how it would be like if I had stayed on course. I certainly hope when it comes to my first car, I will not be in this situation. I have always told myself when I grow up, my first car will be a Honda. A 1998 Integra Type R to be exact. Now that I'm getting older, I honestly don't think that dream will come true. Reasons being that everything regarding a car - from maintenance to modification - requires a fair amount of money that's more than my monthly pay. So really, how many of you readers out there actually managed to turn out what you imagined yourself to be?

  4. What do you all think the ideal fun driving sports car should be? 11. Hi everyone, I suppose that in Singapore since Toyotas are so common, the permeation of VVT-i is also rather extensive. I would like to seek feedback on your opinion on how best can one do to extract the maximum benefits out of VVT-i. That is to say, what kind of driving pattern do you think should be employed on a vehicle with VVT-i technology so supposedly the vehicle will be as fuel frugal as the technology would allow it? Below is a link to an article in which the author has supposedly shared his opinion on the ideal way of driving a VVT-i enabled vehicle. Article A central salient point from the article read as follows,

  14. Hey guys, My family's cefiro and latio , for the fc , has gone tremendously down. The figure does not sound nice and it is so out of the world. For the latio, the figure has been dropping for about a month already. Our usual is around 12.5 to 13. Sometimes even 13.5 . but now.. it has been slowly dropping to 12, then 11.8 and the last tank we fiilled, 10.2!!! frweaking low and my fathers driving habit hasnt changed. For the cefiro, ever since my father installed RMK vol stab, fc has been constantly at 8.5 and even sometimes 9. But now, it has dropped also, from 8.5 to 8.2, then slowly down to the latest tank we filled, which was 6.8 . which was back to the pre RMK days, Can someone advice? the fuel figs are terrible. The only change is both cars went for servicing and changed air filter, oil filter and changed a new bout of syn oil. 5 litres. Is that a cause? Pls advice or we r really gonna call TCM alr. HAHA.. Thanks bros.
  15. 1. I wonder whether there is a specific weight ratio between Rims and Tyres? For example, a 7 kg rim should be matched by a tyre weight of not more than 7kg. 3. By looking at magzines, it also seems to suggest that the ideal weight ratio between rim and inch should be: (Rim size -10)/weight of rim). For example, (17-10/7)=1. Hence if a 17" rim is 8kg is overweight by 1 kg. What do you guys think? Regards,
