Those who frequent, looking to buy, rent, live or stay in private apartments or condos, what do you expect? What is "24 Hour Security". Got number to call in case of emergency and help endeavours to arrive within 15 mins considered? Having as many CCTVs as units yet no known policy, procedures and management known? When requests made, response is only for alleged criminal acts? Is the phrase too loosely defined that agents may wantonly use to attract viewing? In this time and age, in Singapore, with managing agent and cleaning staff on site, are security guards needed? >

Hi all taxi uncles or aunties, i am in need (desperately) for advice on how to make a little bit more using taxi share under smrt? Last time i can earn about $12 per hr after deducted rental and fuel. I started to drive again as i kenna fired by company again. Averagely i earn around 6 to 7 dollars per hour. Yesterday was the worst, i earned only $15 for the 10 hours booking. Not much calls from smrt call booking. like 10 hours 1 call. When about to accept after checking how to go, people take already. So i do only street hires. Anyhow Drive for 10km to 20km round ans round the estate only 1 passenger go to short trip $4.58. Not sure Want to laugh or cry. Din install grab because taxi share always different car plate number. Any master here? I like to meet you and buy you coffee hope you can share with me some advice. I am not giving up yet. I only set a very low expectation As long as can breakeven i am fine. Smrt per hour rental was very high. I hope other taxi company can come.out this flexi scheme too. I am a very hard working driver. I usually eat bread inside car to beat time. I only step out to go toilet only. No time to lose. Thank you.

If any cars zoom pass TP on lane 1, the TP sure chase liao....

I would love to start a similar business leh.............but for female customer only............. [laugh] https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/meet-woman-cuddles-strangers-60-192750139.html Professional cuddler Samantha Hess relaxes with Portland musician KaiKani Seven Vanity. "Let's hold hands and cuddle up on the couch, or listen to some soft music while we curl up in your bed — I am happy to be the big spoon or the little spoon." This is one of the first things you'll read when you visit Samantha Hess' website, Cuddle Up To Me . At the age of 30, Hess is a professional cuddler. For $60 an hour, she'll intimately snuggle with strangers of all types, and bring them one-on-one cuddle time without the complications of a relationship. The idea came to her in 2012, when she read an article about a guy with a "Free Hugs" sign at a local Saturday market. Another man stood next to him with a "Deluxe hugs, $2" sign, and ended up getting more hugs than the first guy. "That was my lightbulb moment," Hess says. "I was at a place in my life, out of a 13-year relationship, where I needed a service that didn't exist. I was struggling and not ready for another relationship, but still had an inherent need to be accepted and loved." Hess didn't know where to turn. She wanted physical comfort that was safe and socially acceptable to reach out to. So in May 2013, she started Cuddle Up To Me. A month later, a local newspaper featured her business in its annual "Best of Portland" issue, which helped the company gain traction. From there, the story spread to over 40 TV stations across the country, accumulating over 17 million views — and her business took off. Currently, professional cuddling is her only job, and Hess says she is making far more money from this business than she did in her previous jobs as a customer service representative or personal trainer. "It's definitely enough to make a living just doing this job, and I never need to take more than five sessions a day," she explains. By working six days a week, Hess can make up to $7,200 in a month. About 90% of her clientele are men between the ages of 20 and 75, and she says many suffer from severe traumatic diseases or disabilities that prevent them from having frequent human contact. "I call my service a 'massage for the mind,'" says Hess. "It's meant to rejuvenate you and make you feel that openness and happiness in your brain by resetting your system from top to bottom." Within 24 hours of her first session with a client, Hess usually gets a phone call or email about how much it meant to them. "I can't tell you how many times I've had to turn down tips, because people are so excited about it," Hess says. What makes her service so great? Hess loves each and every one of her clients with a "human grace." "It's about being able to genuinely look anyone in the eye and make them feel loved and accepted exactly as they are," she says. "My clients know that I don't judge them at all, I just accept people." She treats everyone like her family, no matter who they are. Plus, Hess will go almost anywhere for a cuddle session, whether it's a love seat in a movie theatre, local park, or their bedroom. What's most important to her is keeping her client comfortable. She has pre-arranged cuddle mixes and meditation music to set the mood. Hess will even wear make-up, a certain color of clothing, or specific hairstyle if her clients request i Carla Axtman Samantha Hess, 30, is a professional cuddler. For her clients who are less comfortable with physical contact, she also created her own cuddling positions. "The Tarantino," for example, is for those who want to keep their personal space. "We sit facing each other with a good three feet between us, but our knees go over each other's, and we're cuddling with our legs and arms," says Hess. Although rewarding, Hess' work doesn't come without challenges. "It can be a little tough, because my clients get extremely attached to me," she says. One gave her a physical key to their heart. "It was the sweetest thing, but I had to remind him what the service is, and that we weren't going to be anything romantic," she recalls. She is quick to prevent any inappropriate actions, through her in-person vetting process, a full-page waiver with preset rules and boundaries, and transparency with her clients. "In our culture, the only experience someone has with this kind of touching has been in a romantic sense," says Hess. "It's not always easy for people to switch their brains to simply being platonic about it." Hess emphasizes that it is only appropriate to touch her where it would be okay to touch a child. If she's uncomfortable with anything, she gives her client two taps to signal for them to stop. "If they're looking for a replacement for sex, they're not going to be happy with my service," she says. This work also comes with its share of emotional burdens. "It can be very draining," she says. " Some people have difficult emotional issues they want to talk to me about during our sessions." To cope with this, she meditates before every session. She also showers and changes into different clothes afterwards, because she wants to make sure she's completely fresh in both her mind and her body before taking on her next client. Hess has a boyfriend who is very accepting of her service. "He knows what I do is a form of therapy and that it really makes a difference to people," she says. Next month, Hess will open her first retail store and create a national cuddling certification through a 40-hour-long training program. "This is my life's work. I want to change the view of Western culture on platonic touch," she says. "Everybody should have a way to reach out and feel comfortable with that."

Hi guys, Just like to share I have hit a new personal record for detailing my car, in just an hour. Here's what I done: - Rinse my car - Wash my car with car shampoo and clay it at the same time - Wash my rims with wheel cleaner - Rinse my car - Dry my car using a waffle weave, about 70% dry, 30% wet - Apply JW Prime whole car (using a wet soft sponge) - Buff it away - Apply Clearkote carnuba moose wax (wet applicator), wipe on and wipe off Everything done in just an hour =) Every steps were done in high speed. Would probably be 15 mins faster if I not for the fact my rims had stubborn stains on them. Who say you have no time to detail your car? =D But end of it, body damn weak and perfect for a nap.

Works to widen a busy stretch of Braddell Road, between Toa Payoh North Flyover and Braddell Flyover, will begin in the third quarter of this year, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA). When completed by end 2015, the road will be expanded from its current dual-three lanes to a dual-five lane carriageway, which is expected to alleviate the traffic congestion that the stretch currently experiences. As part of the road widening project, the LTA will also be constructing a new single lane flyover to allow vehicles that are turning to the right from Toa Payoh to connect directly with the Braddell Underpass as they head towards Paya Lebar. The junctions of Lorong 1 to Lorong 6 Toa Payoh, and Lorong 1 to Lorong 4 Toa Payoh, will also be improved. "When completed, the road widening project will help to alleviate heavy traffic conditions currently experienced along Braddell Road during the peak hours and meet anticipated increase in traffic demand," said an LTA spokesperson. Residents in the area can also expect two new pedestrian bridges across Braddell Road. Necessary noise mitigation measures will also be in place for this widening project, both during and after construction, assured the LTA. Bishan resident James Martin, who is in his 20s and uses Braddell Road regularly to get home, would often be stuck in traffic congestion along the stretch during evening peak hours. "If the project helps to resolve jams, it will be great," he said. Source: http://www.todayonline.com/Singapore/EDC12...-peak-hour-jams & http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/S...ory_788320.html

Damn sad! PIE fatal hit-and-run: Victim found nearly 5 hours later Above: Mr Muhammad Zulfiqar's body was found in the centre of the divider at the PIE on Monday morning close to five hours later after he was flung off his motorbike. SINGAPORE - A 21-year-old motorcyclist was flung off his motorbike while travelling on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) towards Changi Airport on Monday morning (April 2). The bike appeared to have skidded, The New Paper reported. But the victim of the fatal accident, Mr Muhammad Zulfiqar, was found close to five hours later at 10.15am. The police said in a joint statement with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) that they first received a call about the accident at 5.25am. Upon arrival, they found an unattended motorbike at lane 3 of the expressway, the statement said. However "attempts to verify the whereabouts of the motorbike owner were unsuccessful and officers left the scene subsequently," the agencies said. At 9.15am, SCDF received another call about "someone lying down in the divider along PIE towards Changi Airport, after Upper Bukit Timah exit". But again the dispatched ambulance could not locate the victim. At about 10.07am, the police received another report of "a man lying in the bushes at the centre divider of PIE" and returned to the location. But it was another SCDF ambulance that was on its way to a separate incident along the PIE that spotted Mr Muhammad. Paramedics pronounced the biker dead at 10.15am. According to Chinese-language newspaper Lianhe Wanbao, Mr Muhammad was left for dead after he was hit by a car and flung off his bike. Mr Muhammad's father, Mr Mohd Nor, 45, said his family had never supported his son's decision to ride a motorcycle, according to The New Paper. However he had insisted that it was more convenient than taking the bus or MRT. Mr Mohd Nor said that on the day of the accident, his son had gone for supper with some frineds afer knocking off from work in the wee hours of the morning. Police investigations are ongoing.

Mr Ang Chee Peng, 26, was doing what he loved most on Thursday night. He was riding along Upper East Coast Road when he was involved in an accident with a car. The driver of the car was making a U-turn towards East Coast Road to pick up his wife and daughter at a bus stop at the time, reported Shin Min Daily News. Mr Ang was flung from his sports motorbike and ended up pinned under the car. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call at 8.38pm and dispatched two fire engines, two fire bikes, an ambulance and two support vehicles to the scene. When the SCDF officers arrived, Mr Ang, who had serious injuries, no longer had a pulse, the report said. He was still trapped under the car when paramedics pronounced him dead around 9.30pm. Some 20 officers took about an hour to extract the body from under the car. They used two airbags and a hydraulic spreader to lift the car to gain access to the body. The driver of the car, who is in his early 50s, has been arrested for causing death by a rash act and is out on bail. Mr Ang's motorbike skidded 50m from the accident site. His sports shoes were found 100m away, reported Shin Min Daily News. One of the headlights of the car fell off and part of the car's body was damaged, the report said. If the driver is making the U-turn along East Coast Road and the biker coming straight from upper east coast road...... he should be charged for manslaughter... it is illegal to U-turn! RIP.... ride safe bros.

THREE men were arrested for tampering with the fuel gauges of their cars - all within an hour - on March 10. Two days earlier, another man was arrested for the same offence. Zhang Jin Chua, a driving instructor, was going through the Woodlands Checkpoint when he was stopped by immigration officers. It was ten minutes to midnight. Presumably he thought he could have gotten away in the wee hours of the morning when the authorities would be less alert. Zhang, along with Tan Chong Jin James, Yap Soon Heng and Lee Hwa , were charged in court with not having the minimum amount of petrol in their vehicles' fuel tanks. They were also charged with giving false information to the authorities. All have been sentenced to a $500 fine or in default, one week's jail and two weeks' imprisonment. Yap's case is still pending in court. Since January 2010, 17 persons have been prosecuted for tampering with fuel gauges on their vehicles. Under the law, Singapore-registered cars must have at least three-quarter tank of petrol when departing Singapore. Motorists are advised against any attempts to infringe the rule when given the stringent checks at the checkpoints. Those who tamper with the fuel gauges of their vehicles to give a false reading that the amount of fuel in the fuel tanks are three-quarter full or more illustrate a deliberate intent to cheat the authorities. Such offenders are liable on conviction to fines not exceeding $5,000 and/or jail term up to 12 months.
