  1. Do you use your car as a mini storage space? Since your car is your second personal home, would you use it to store things you need to use or to hide some things like unauthorised purchases, or avoid all the clutter inside your car? Like using your car to hide your "unauthorised" purchases from your wife, like golf clubs, electronic gadgets, etc. Use it to store your kid's toys which they can play during journeys. Use it to store your work related stuff. Use it to keep additional clothes and shoes just in case. Keep all the name cards in the glove box.

  3. For a about 2 weeks i have spotted a TP WRX + bike parked (with lights on) behind portable road barriers (those white/orange ones we see during roadwork) near the top of the CTE flyover (toward city) over Jalan Toa Payoh.... morning peak and even peak hours, Maybe after all its not hide & seek, coz their roof blinker lights were turned on, everyone can see them 600m away. They need to take a nap or scratch between their thighs?? why bike + WRX, two is more fun than one??

  5. Singapore traffic authorities in call for license plate recognition Two leading transport bodies in Singapore have called for license plate recognition (LPR) systems to be installed around the country. Land Transport Authority (LTA) has issued a statement with the Traffic Police for the technology to be installed with the aim of identifying bus lane and illegal U-turn offenders. The Singaporean government has welcomed the calls for the automatic license plate recognition system, saying that innovation will be able to aid the traffic enforcement laws. Lim Hwee Hua, Singapore's minister for finance and transport, has said that the country will install LPR on a trial basis, as specialised innovation for the country's roads is important. "The use of new recognition technology will improve compliance by motorists [which leads] to greater safety and smoother traffic flows for all," she said. "In this technical trial, companies will develop License Plate Recognition Solutions customised for Singapore

The rate at the ERP gantry for Thomson Road will go up as well. It will cost the motorist $2 instead of $1.50 - from 8am to 8.30am. These revised rates will take effect from Feb 1. Rates for other gantries remain unchanged. The revisions come on the back of the Land Transport Authority (LTA)'s quarterly review of traffic conditions on ERP-priced roads and expressways. 7. This function have be there since day 1, just that most of us overlook it (I'm one of them). This is nothing new, but good info for those who want to hide the avatar of other users. [inline "How to hide Avatar.jpg"] The reason why I used Spiderman avatar because he was the one that was asking whether can this be done. [inline B4After.jpg] Please take note that once you activate this function, you CANNOT see your own avatar too. So don't come and ask what's wrong..
  8. ... can one car install two HUs ? pardon me of the irrelevant subject ... got questions for fellow gurus here ... Original Intention: - new car comes with a Pioneer 2DIN touch screen DVD HU (AVHP4050DVD), and a dunno-what-brand roof mount monitor - new car comes with 4 spkrs - intend to install Pioneer 12 Disc changer (from previous car) to the DVD HU - intend to install Audison LRX4.3 amp (from previous car) to drive 4 spkrs - intend to install the Pioneer active sub (from previous car) that hides under car seat - intend to change new front spkrs to 2-way component Poison: - Friend's ride installed P80 running active setup - SQ improvement was superb IMO - Adore the active setup Question: - Can install Pioneer P8650 (from previous car) in new car to co-exist with the DVD HU ? - Hope to achieve active setup with P8650, while not losing the DVD HU. - Initial thoughts is to let DVD HU audio output goes into P8650 Aux-In. So that when I want audio, I can just use P8650. Workable or not huh ? Funny option hor But all the stuff are existing stuff, thus if can re-use them to get better SQ, yet can enjoy the DVD, then would be ideal ... No intention to buy additional sound processor or whatsoever .. Greatly appreciate any advice ... Many Thanks in advance ..
