Cigarette butt found in Eu Yan Sang herbs

Eu Yan Sang has pulled one of its products, Xia Ku Cao herbs, off the shelves after a customer complained that she had found a cigarette butt in one of the packets.
Delise Oh and her husband take Chinese herbs regularly. Last Sunday, they discovered a cigarette butt in the herbs that she had bought the previous month.
Upon closer examination, she saw that the butt had Chinese wordings on it.
In a written reply, Eu Yan Sang said raw herbs are imported from China although they are then re
