  1. Take noted. If you have F&N magnolia fresh milk 1L pack, with label use by "01 MAR 19, 03:51", go do a heat up test before giving it to your children. I bought 3 packs from Sheng Siong Jalan bahar last week. This morning when I heated up a glass in the microwave, it turned tau huay, and this is from the same pack with no issue yesterday morning. I opened up a new pack and same thing happened, the last pack also same after heating up. Thinking that it may be my microwave, I tried heating over the stove, and tau huay was made again. The temp of the fridge is the same and the fridge is not fill up, the only thing added was some drinks (we didnt stock up much food this year). I googled and the return was not very positive, and so i wrote an email to F&N this morning asking them to look into the batch. Meanwhile, those who have this batch of milk, take note. However they look, smell and taste quite normal when chill, but I am still not going to consume them. Now have to go pick up some new stock liao, not from the same brand tho.
  2. Heated argument after child runs behind reversing taxi at Robertson Quay condo. SINGAPORE - Two men were involved in a heated argument with a taxi driver at Robertson Quay last Sunday. A Stomp reader who witnessed the incident told the citizen journalism website that the trio had been staring at each other before the argument broke out. The daughter of one of the men had earlier run behind the taxi as it was reversing out of an entrance of the Watermark condominium, but the cabby managed to brake in time. The Stomp contributor known only as Sarah said that she heard a loud commotion at about 12.45pm. She said: "The condo's security guard said the cabby was driving into one of the entrances of the condominium. The entrance to the block the cabby wanted to go to was not at this block, so the security guard redirected the cabby to another entrance. "The cabby reversed his taxi a little and at this point in time, the man's daughter (about 3 to 4 years old) suddenly dashed out and ran up behind the taxi, but the cabby managed to brake in time." Sarah added that the man was accompanied by another male friend and two other women who appeared to be their wives. She said that the men kept yelling at the cabby even after he got out of his vehicle to try and explain things. =================================== Don't know why parents can't keep their children in reign when near roads. Do they need something to happen before they wake up their idea?
  3. Hi Ladies and Gentlemen, my Toyota Altis' coolant is heated up. I have added water to the coolant but the temperature still does not decrease. What else could be the problem?
  4. Man films heated exchange with cabbie, uploads it onto YouTube A CASE of road rage apparently sparked off when a man told a cab driver that he had been parking on the wrong side of the road. The man, who filmed a video of the heated exchange and later uploaded it onto YouTube and sent it to STOMP, said he had first asked the cabby politely to move his car. According to the man, the unhappy cabbie then replied with expletives. The dispute escalated from there, and that was when he started to film their argument. Cisco officers later came to the scene to stop the fight. The man in the video had threatened several times to call the police to arrest the cab driver. He also asked the cab driver to leave. Midway through the shouting match, the cab driver began winding up the passenger seat window in a bid to end the quarrel. The cab finally left when the man had asked Cisco officers to take down his particulars. The three-and-a-half minute video has since been uploaded by three different users on YouTube. 5. OK it has been raining. I tried experimenting with the demister/heater. The A/C is so cold it is fogging up the rear window. I drove to pick up my daughter. Didn't turn off engine and touched the side mirrors. Egad! They are not warm. They are hot! Not enough to burn you but hot. I recommend using them when it rains. Dries the rain drops on them. Couple this with RainX on the side windows, you get superior visibility.
