Ever since I changed to bigger rims, my brakes start to squeak every morning when I start the car. It goes away after a few brakings. I doubt changing rims make this noise. Anyone can advise what could be the problem? Thx

I recently installed a set of AP racing big brake kit. Right after installation, it produce a loud squealing noise during braking. This was resolved after adding brake shim and grease and chamfering the pads. It has a groaning noise when car is in D gear trying to crawl forward while I depressed the brake pedal slightly to catering for creeping of the car. I noticed many auto gear cars have this noise but it didn’t have on my stock brakes. Can any gurus advise please is it his normal and how to resolve it? Thanks.

I have been experiencing a loud Wong Wong sound when I'm driving at 60-70. Sound goes away after 70 and will come on at 100-120 and after 120,it will be silent. I don't think it is a bearing issue as my car is not shaking or vibrating. I heard that a bearing sound is more of a grinding sound instead of Wong Wong. I'm riding on michellin ps3 that has done about 30-40k with about 40% threads left. My car will be scrapping in 2017 July so will not want to spend so much on new tires. If I need to change tyres, can you guys advise me a reliable and not too expensive set? Thanks in advance!

I got a 2nd hand car recently. Cheap thrill and cleared off one thing on my todo list. It has 2 years left. Thinking should get a new one after 2 years later if coe still affordable. Haha My current drive feels rather bumpy - one factor is our roads that have many patches but i realised i am feeling almost every bump. I feel that should not be the case, isn't it? I am thinking is this some kind of suspension problem? Can it be resolved by replacement parts? My mech actually said that perhaps not worth it to change part by parts since its an old car ( there are other minor quirks which are non crucial and i was advised to ignore it. )

How sensitive should the brakes be? I feel like my new mazda 3's brake is not very sensitive compared to my friend's car. Not sure if it's a defect or normal. I have to depress the brakes for at least 5-7cm before the braking power kicks in. The starting few cm does nothing at all to stop the car.

Hi, I just hit a curb at high speed! tyre punture and rim bent. had replaced the rim and tyre. At the same time I did alignment. However the person asked me to change my camber bolt as my car camber cannot adjust. Did not do it, just adjust toe only. If my camber is off, do I need to purchase the camber nut to adjust camber? Anything is that the wheel that hit the curb, it was nearer to the back fender now. should be castor off. anyway to fit it to the original position? Thanks in advance! oh ya, I am driving a honda jazz GD 1.

Just replaced my rear brake pad and noticed that it "bite" more and car is more reluctant to move . E.g have to step on accelerator before the car will move while previously it will slowly move ... Likewise it will slow down faster than previous. Also the brake disc , rim and tyre are now much hotter compare to the front . I know that it will take a while before the brake pad is "seasoned" but should I be concerned as the high temperature may affect the brake hose etc.... Is this normal or I should go back to see if something can be done.
