  1. Saw this on MCF FaceBook. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152190776063501&set=a.10150637514323501.414234.772253500&type=1&relevant_count=1 Josiah Wong While driving a truck along SLE today a Traffic Police car cut into my lane suddenly and step on the brake multiple times. The car then drove away and a few minutes later, appear in front of me again. Turned on its siren and direct me to stop at the side of the expressway. Policemen: where's your driving license and ic Me: *passed him the license and ic Policemen: why are you speeding? Me: I'm not speeding. Policemen: what's your speed just now? I'm sure you're speeding Me: I'm driving at 70km/h the most and I did not speed. Policemen: yes, you did! Me: I did not, show me the evidence then. Policemen: never mind, why did you over take from the left after Yio Chu Kang exit? Me: I did not. I was just keeping to my lane. Policemen: yes, you did. I saw it with my eyes. Me: I did not, you can charge me if you have evidence of it. Policemen: it's ok, I will give you a chance. I will issue you a ticket for not keeping to the left lane and why didn't you put a P plate? Me: hello, open your eyes and look at the date. Policemen: ok, I will still issue you a ticket. So this is how traffic police work? Purposely finding fault and pushing the blame? When they have nothing else to catch, they give this kind of stupid reason to fault you. Look people, this is how Traffic Police in Singapore work.

    Got guts?

Was at Textile center at 12:40pm to meet clients. Saw this GungHo Swift driver. Outside the building, at the major road, many cars like to park alongside. Some to deposit cheques, some waiting for something. This white uniformed guy came and was using a piece of paper to 'shoo' this swift away. The swift winded down the window to ask what is the problem (Ok , I did not hear clearly the converstaion). The white guy told him cannot stop and wait here, but I think the swift guy really heck care and ignore the white guy and wind up the window. The white guy was somewhat stunned, still waved his piece of paper asking the swift to move on. About 15 seconds later, when the swift is not going to move, the white guy walked to the front and start to copy down the licence plate. Thats when I took this photo. After that I saw the swift very very slowly move forward, lucky for him, his very pretty girlfriend came in time and off they go. My question is 1) Will swift be summoned for illegal parking? 2) Can swift appeal that his car is still moving slowly and therefore not illegal parking?
  3. This morning at around 7.15 am, I was driving along CTE towards town after the AMK Avenue 5 exit and proceeding towards AMK Avenue 1. I was in the middle lane and lane 1 on my right is packed and same as my lane. Lane 3 on my left is quite okay with vehicles able to move lah. Then a patrol WRX just passed by me quietly on my left at lane 3. My first thoughts were maybe the police is attending to some matters lah....Then after a few minutes behind the WRX there is this dark blue car (look like a swift) just moved on the road shoulder and cut into lane 3 in front of the police WRX. On seeing this, the WRX switched on its blinkers and trailed the car onwards....I did not see much of the latter actions until after I reach the AMK Avenue 1 exit where I saw the driver of that dark blue car talking to the police officers of the WRX.....with his car and WRX parked at the road shoulder. For once, I really salute the driver....He got the guts to drive on road shoulder and cut in front of traffic police.....
