Guys, I have been using this diy myself and used this paint protection system and the result is amazing! I didn't took a video of my car which is a waste. The result that you get and the money that you pay for this product is a far cry. I bought mine at Ubi autobac. Which is having a discount currently and i did all the chores myself. And my car now have this beautiful shine and also it have this water flowing off effect that is very different from normal hydrophobic effect that some groomer and told me. Those lotus effect that they share with me. If anyone of you here have tried this products before? please kindly share with us the result!

I got a relative here who has been jobless for quite a while and decided to join the security industry as a security guard. He only has 3 Nlevel passes and never been in the industry. He was told by some security companies that he needed to attend some WSQ courses and I managed to help him locate a list of providers http://app2.wda.gov.sg/wsq/Contents/conten...id=983&Pg=3 Issue here is today is a sunday, the offices are closed. Hes got a lot of queries but i cannot locate them on the net. Any kind souls here knows roughly how much is the course and how many days is the course? is it funded 100% by govt or is it cofunded by the security company and the government? Thanks a lot for whatever information you can provide,

Observation Duragloss Nano CS produce a wet finished...The application is easy on and not require to buff off..Application is similar to Enviroshield..Apply a little and it enable to spread on a large area easily..Once cured..It has a very slick feel.. Let see how durable and resistance it is.. The panel is divided into half..With Opti-Guard and Duragloss Nano CS..As for the prep..clay with Duragloss claybar..Polish with IP and finished with FF.. Wipe down with 99% IPA.. This is after applying DG Nano clear seal and Optimum coat..

The car park was full... me: (waits at the entrance hopping that someone will go out and i can go in), i am still in the car the guard comes guard:you cannot park here me: i am waiting for some one to come out so that i can go in guard: you cannot wait here cos your car is near my sensor and will wrack havock in my system. (not true as i have done it later in the afternoon, waited for like 15 min) me: so, i move to one side without my car above your sensor. guard: that will be obstructing traffic coming into the car park. AND I WILL CLAMP YOUR WHEEL. me: what traffic, i am waiting inside the vehicle guard: : you still cannot park and i will clamp your wheel, you can go to other carpark me: ) drives off) then back at my work place: I saw the guard trying to clamp a buffet cafeteria's van while the diver was making his delivery (van was parked at the fire engine access) F**k that guard. if this is going to happen tomorrow again i will call the police. I just noted that the sign outside the carpark states 'cars park illegally will be clamp/tow' no mention of waiting

Please guess which shopping mall. Guard shot five times in robbery Share 0 inShareNew Straits Times Thursday, Jun 07, 2012 JOHOR BARU - A security guard at a moneychanger's outlet in a shopping mall is in stable condition after being shot five times during a robbery on Tuesday. The guard, in his 40s, who was armed with a pump-action shotgun, was no match for the robbers, who were armed with semi-automatic pistols. The robbers fired nine shots, with five hitting the guard. They then grabbed a sling bag containing RM100,000 in Singapore dollars (S$40,217) before escaping in a waiting car. Johor deputy police chief Datuk Ismail Yatim said the incident happened at 8pm when the guard and his employer, a moneychanger who operated from a shopping mall, were walking towards their car after closing the outlet. "They were intercepted by two armed robbers wearing masks, who got down from a car while another waited behind the wheel. "One of the robbers grabbed the sling bag from the moneychanger. "The guard went for his pump-action shotgun, but before he could fire, the two gunmen shot him." Ismail said the shots were fired at point-blank range. The guard collapsed while the moneychanger was unhurt. The robbers escaped in their car. The guard was rushed to Sultanah Aminah Hospital here and his condition is reported to be stable. Police believed the robbers had watched the moneychanger for several days before making their move. Ismail said nine slugs were found at the scene. "We are working on several leads and hope to identify the robbers soon," he said after a crime-prevention programme at the Johor Religious Department here yesterday.

Just now, at about 7:45 pm at the the small road outside Parkview Suites parallel to Rochor Road, a man in security guard uniform, which I guess should be that of Parkview Suites, took a photo of my car when I was waiting for my wife. After that, he walked away quickly towards other cars around the bend. I was thinking what the heck did he do it? Is he some kind of vigilante TP or what? Yes, it is a double yellow line, but there was absolutely no problem of traffic obstruction. Ahead of me, there were two other cars PARKED there with no driver in sight!

I am using a Page Guard car alarm model PG8000s and my remote is not working today. The alarm sounded non stop after I used factory remote to open car door. I cut off the wire connecting to the siren but the blinking of light remains. I lost the instruction manual and I remember there is an instruction on how to deactivate the alarm by pressing the red button on the dash of the car. Could anyone help me on this?

Hi guys, just to check with you. Is there anything on the car accessories market that protects the car door handle..? The reason is because my ride got hit by a neighboring car door when they open their door. As much as I tried to keep in the center of the parking lot and a distance from the neighboring cars, but still got hit. Really heart ached whenever I see it. I have also tried as much and as far as I can, when opening my own car door and prevent from hiting my neighboring car, but such things still happens to me... As such, I need to send in my car for a respray on the door handle. But I still would like to know if there are such accessories available on the market for protecting the car door handle from knocks from neighboring cars. Thanks...

Not sure if anyone has posted this thread b4. I read it in asiaone motoring. Outrageous! =================================== WHEN a motorist tried to park at a multi-storey carpark meant only for tenants at a business park, he was denied entry. But he refused to move his car even after a queue of cars formed behind him. And when police officers finally forced him to move to another spot, he shouted that he didn't care about the consequences and drove into the multi-storey carpark. As he sped up the ramp, his car hit and injured a security guard who had earlier prevented him from entering the carpark at Tradehub 21 at Boon Lay Way on Wednesday. Mr Lee Ah Hong, 64, told The New Paper that he was standing at the entrance to the carpark when he saw a black Lexus suddenly speeding towards him. He managed to jump aside as the car passed him, but his right hand was hit, leaving him with a fractured wrist. Mr Lee said the driver, whom he described as a man in his late 40s, wanted to park on the second level of the multi-storey carpark. But he did not allow the driver to enter as he did not have a label indicating that he was a tenant at Tradehub 21. Mr Gary Haris, 36, senior business development manager of KH Security Agency, said that only tenants are allowed to use the multi-storey carpark. There are other parking spaces available on the grounds of the business park. The incident happened at about 3.40pm, just minutes before Mr Lee was due to end his hourly stint at the carpark. The driver insisted on parking there and refused to move, causing a queue of five to six cars, including a police car responding to a separate matter. Intervened Three police officers from the car intervened and asked the driver to move his car so that other vehicles could pass. The driver moved his car to one of the parallel parking spaces opposite the multi-storey carpark, leaving it at a 45-degree angle away from the kerb. By then, Mr Lee's supervisor and another colleague had shown up, having seen the incident on CCTV. As they spoke to the driver, who was still in his car, Mr Lee stood in the middle of the entrance to the carpark, as he always does while on duty. Said Mr Lee in Mandarin: "Then I saw something black coming towards me. Thank goodness I ran out of the way. But I wasn't fast enough and the car hit my hand." After being hit, Mr Lee raised his right hand, using his other arm to support his wrist, and shouted at the driver that he had hit someone. Though the window on the driver's side was down, he continued speeding up the ramp, Mr Lee said. The police was called and an ambulance took Mr Lee to the hospital, where he was given outpatient treatment and four days of medical leave. Mr Lee later heard from a colleague that before the driver accelerated towards him, the driver had shouted: "I don't care about the consequences." Other employees The New Paper spoke to also mentioned that the driver had said that. Several security officers searched the 10-storey carpark for the owner and his vehicle, but could not find him. Mr Lee's son, Mr Lee Zhi Wen, 44, who also works for the same company, was having his break at a coffee shop when he heard that his father had been injured. Said the younger Mr Lee, who is still angry over the incident: "Our job is already dangerous. If the cars don't stop, our lives are at risk. "My father is in his 60s. Did the driver need to do that?" Upset Mr Lee, who lives with his wife and his daughter, is upset at not being able to work for several days. "I'm right-handed and it was my right hand that was hit," he said. "It's swollen like a pig's trotter and it hurts so bad. I can't even hold a pen. How am I supposed to work?" He is required to write down the licence plates of delivery vehicles that enter the multi-storey carpark. The New Paper understands from Mr Haris that the police identified the driver about three hours after the incident. A police spokesman confirmed that they received a call for assistance at about 3.50pm on Wednesday and are investigating. Frustrated as he is with the driver for his rash act, Mr Lee still managed to find something to be thankful for. Smiling, Mr Lee said: "At least he didn't hit my body. Now I can still celebrate Chinese New Year!"
