  1. GREEN TIPS Over 50% of the energy consumption of typical commercial and government buildings is dedicated to Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. A major load component for HVAC systems is the radiation exposure of the building through its envelope, and particularly through the glazing. Applying window films on existing glass can enhance sustainability and energy performance upgrades. Often overlooked, window film is one of the best available energy efficiency investments in terms of payback and return on investment (ROI). In general, a minimum of 10% in energy savings is attainable, reaching up to 30% in some cases. Acting as a radiation filter, window film also increases comfort by reduction of heat, glare and almost 100% of harmful UV exposure. Extensive laboratory and field testing has shown that Cool N Lite Solar Film can dramatically improve the energy performance of practically any existing glazing. In our tests, our high performance films can block up to over 10 degrees Celsius effectively from external heat. MINIMISING COLD AND HOT SPOTS For some buildings, HOT and COLD SPOTS exist at different parts of the building. These hot/cold spots causes thermal sensors to produce inaccurate readings depending on the placement of these sensors. As a result, the peak load of air-conditioning is inconsistent throughout the building. Such unbalance can result in human thermal discomfort (e.g. Too cold at certain areas, needing thermal wear, while insufficient cooling is experienced at certain areas). The use of Cool N Lite high tech films can help you maintain an even balance of temperature throughout your premises. It will not only improve the comfort level of its occupants, it also helps you save on energy costs!
