http://www.ezlink.com.sg/consumer/consumer_giro2.jsp did i read wrongly or not? my impression is that EZlink will deduct additional 25cts from a subscriber's bank acct for topping-up via Giro each time. also there is a refundable deposit charge incurred equalvalent to the preferred top-up amount being selected. I think it is really un-necessary as all this was not required during the old ezlink card period. If that's the case, I rather do a manual top-up.

i'm just wondering with all the hassel and problems with cash cards, then some suggestions for using credit cards... why not just pay by giro monthly... the IU unit is so good, never fail to detect that u pass through gantry, issit so mush simpler to just consolidate a bill and send u every month to make payment? any commends on the pros and cons on this system?

after GIRO approved, when will HDB charge from my account? e.g., for Oct month, will they charge in beginning or end of Oct, or even earlier?
