I am starting this thread to do my part in boosting the traffic / readership / participationship in MCF. I started the same topic during my time with AsiaOne Motoring Forum, and this used to be one of the hottest thread over there. All the old birds from A1M Forum (@fitvip, @presea, @hotnyh, @sabian, @7007, @ahyoo2002, etc.), let do our part to keep MCF active so that this forum would not face the same fate as A1M. For a start, let have something easy. All these 3 model were available in Singapore some 15 - 20 years ago. Happy guessing... #1 #2 #3

Watch Chris Harris have some good fun in a classic Mini race
chitchatboy posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
Chris Harris goes classic mini racing in his latest series of Chris Harris Drives video. If you love racing, you probably would want to have a go in the car too. With 60 old school Minis gathered in Goodwood for the celebration of the model’s 60th anniversary, Harris got to remind himself how fun it was to drive the Minis as racing cars. These specially prepped cars had 125bhp and could rev over 8,000rpm. While the power output doesn't sound like much, it only weighs 620kg and with the help of a limited-slip differential and many modern components, the Minis can average an impressive 150km/h around the track.-

Texas Police makes fun of driver who didn't park properly
chitchatboy posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
Bad parking habits can be found in most parts of the world. It is no different in the United States of America and police in Texas found a creative way to call out an offender. Posted on Facebook by the Southlake Police Department in reference to a Ram truck which parked poorly, one of its officers in its department apparently created a funny note which reads “We noticed you had a little trouble staying in the lines when you parked next to a handicapped space….” “Maybe if you practice coloring our path and staying in the lines here, it could help you from avoid citations in the future.” An uncolored image of the police department’s shield was also in the note. While not everyone might find it funny, we thought at least the police there had a decent sense of humor and receiving that message is much better than actually getting a fine. -
this is a nice new corner to drive, but i predict the kerbs of the tunnel will have a lot of markings very soon skip to 1m05s if impatient:

just went to a escape room game at Peace Centre with my family over the weekend. First time experienced such a game and was quite impressed with the implementation of tech stuff/gadgetry such as RFID, laser lights etc, some of it makes me feel like I am in a movie. The staff are also helpful to provide clues anytime we are stuck at a puzzle as long as we ask. They even came in to guide us on 2 of the puzzles. Some other place states that only one clue will be given per game. Still it was actually quite expensive, almost $30 per head for a stipulated game time of 1hr (Later I realized this is almost the standard price for peak hours, off-peak will be cheaper). Luckily for us, the next game slot was not taken and we could play for another 30mins, though we were still stuck in the room at the end and the staff had to come in to get us out!!! I must say that I am interested to visit again and a search on the web showed that there are easily around 10 or so such places in operation, really spoiled for choice to decide which one to visit next. Anyone has any good experience of escape rooms to share?

Named after the popular mobile app, it will be housed in a new shopping centre in Johor Baru (JB), Komtar JBCC. Games like Lazer Bird Shoot, Red Bird Goal, Piggy Shooting Gallery and Captain Black Bird Ship - featuring characters from the app - can be expected at the park. The opening date of the park, a joint venture between real estate company Damansara Assets and Angry Birds app maker Rovio Entertainment, has not been announced yet. According to the park's official Facebook page, it will be "soon". Introductory single entry tickets are priced at RM75 ($29.20), while family tickets that admit two adults and two children are priced at RM230 ($89.55). The theme park is an addition to JB's other three parks: Legoland, Playtime (where the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is), and KSL Dinosaur Water Park on the 7th floor of a hotel (where dinosaurs fitted with sensors move when people are nearby). It will be an option for Singapore families looking for alternatives to Universal Studios Singapore. - See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/lifestyle/travel/story/angry-birds-activity-park-johor-baru-20-minutes-away-woodlands-checkpoint-201#sthash.wpmtk6Ne.dpuf
