  1. A tycoon who owns a chain of budget hotels is suing the authorised agent of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars here over an alleged flaw in a $1.4 million Phantom limousine he bought four years ago. Mr James Koh Wee Meng, 49, the man behind the Fragrance chain of budget hotels, appointed Senior Counsel Davinder Singh of Drew & Napier to file the suit last November. In it, he claimed the car made loud thumping and whirring noises when moving out of a three-point turn when he took delivery of it on or around Dec 23, 2008. He also claimed that he felt 'significant vibration' from its steering wheel. He claimed the agent, Trans Eurokars, had failed to rectify these repeatedly, and is therefore seeking damages. http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/S...ory_759941.html
  2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2739215/Jennifer-Lawrence-victim-hacker-leaks-slew-graphic-nude-photos-Oscar-winning-actress.html A flaw in the 'Find My iPhone' function of Apple's iCloud service may have helped a hacker to steal nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and '100 other celebrities', it today emerged. The hacker claims he or she broke into stars' iCloud accounts, including those of the Hunger Games actress, Kate Upton and Rihanna, before publishing them on 4chan, the image-sharing forum. A list of the alleged victims of the hack - 101 in total - has also been posted online; most of whom have not seen any photographs leaked by the hacker. A spokesman for Oscar winner Lawrence confirmed to MailOnline the photos of her are genuine. 'This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,' the emailed statement read. Following the publication of the images of Sunday night, experts have voiced their concerns over how the hacker managed to access them. Now, reports suggest that a specific flaw in the 'Find My iPhone' service may have been to blame. Despite the story breaking last night, Apple is still yet to confirm or deny whether its software was the target of the hacking.
  3. Source: http://vroom.quape.com/index.php?option=co...&id=73&Itemid=9 Written by djXpire Monday, 03 September 2007 Recently, it has come to our attention that there is a major flaw on all driving center's booking system for Practical Driving Tests... A student from Singapore Safety Driving Center is currently exploiting this flaw on all the booking systems for Traffic Police Practical Tests and trying to make a profit out of it. He made this software to monitor all the cancelled practical test dates and auto-book those dates immediately for people who paid him service fees. He had also used his self created software to auto-book his own test dates and successfully gotten his license within 3 Months which is deemed cheating. Below are the gathered relevant information: He is known as wangxf100 in Hardwarezone forums. HWZ Private Messages where he pmed another user named: shirron Read more for further details & more screenshots available... Click here for where he registered and solicit his business to the users in Flowerpod.com.sg. It showed that he is indeed capable of booking those cancelled practical test dates. Although he had already cancelled his blog site @ http://wangxf100.spaces.live.com/blog/Acce...space=wangxf100 (broken link now) But I am still able to retrieve cached data from the the windows live space server. The useful links where he advertise about his services: 1. http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q=83349...en-SG&FORM=CVRE 2. http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q=83349...n-SG&FORM=CVRE2 The two above links are still workable now but I do not know how long will the cached data will stay on their server. I just made more screenshots in order to provide concrete evidence about his exploitations. Refer to the slide show above for the printcreens just in case the cached links dont work anymore... An email had been sent to notify all the driving centers about this major flaw & exploit, I will update further when there are responses from the respective driving centers....
