The Mitsubishi Pajero is set to be discontinued after being on sale for more than 37 years Japan.
Production will cease come August and Mitsubishi has launched a Final Edition which is limited to 700 units as a celebratory model.
Based on the Pajero Exceed, the Final Edition features add-ons like a sunroof and roof rails. Ticking the box for the Final Edition Accessory Package would then add a rear spoiler, a spare tire cover and mud flaps with Pajero badging.
Inside, things remain pretty much the same other than a new illuminated “Final Edition” sill plates.
The SUV is powered by a 3.2-litre four cylinder diesel engine that produces 187bhp and 441 Nm of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with a locking rear differential.
While the Japanese will not be getting anymore Pajeros soon, the car will still be made available in a handful of markets like Australia and the Middle East.
