  1. TL;DR: NSF(s) witnessed alleged dog abuse by warrant officer and / or LTC, films portion of abuse, hands video over to Animal Lovers League, who then uploads video online. SAF investigates, gets source from Animal Lovers League video uploader, allegedly promises no punishment for the video taker, charges NSF for taking video in green zone. Regulars not charged as SAF considers abuse not to have happened. TL;SR: (Too Long;Still bother to read) Sauce: http://www.todayonline.com/singapore/authorities-investigating-alleged-animal-abuse-pasir-ris-camp#inside Sauce for photo and second quote: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202579205575576&set=a.10200303362400919.1073741825.1059662158&type=1 Thoughts? Personally I love dogs, though my family don't, so I can't keep them in the house. I'm angry at those who do abuse dogs, cats, or other animals. (Eating them is ok for me, I guess). The FB post is by the father of the NSF who tio SOL for doing the right thing (morally, if not by protocol). Can understand the father's annoyance (to put it mildly) when his son is punished and the regulars got away scot-free from their actions.

  3. http://forums.asiaone.com/showthread.php?t=43905 What?? could this really be true? Sounds like another hoax to me This picture taken in the Amazon rainforest could be the clearest proof yet that aliens exist. The snap - taken from a video filmed by two British tourists - shows a small alien-like creature arching its back as it stands next to a tree in the Amazon jungle. In the corner of the picture is a bright flash of light which is thought to be connected to the alien's presence. The video - snapped up by Hollywood producers for a film - was obtained by noted paranormal writer Michael Cohen and is believed to have been filmed by two British tourists visiting the Mamaus region of the Amazon jungle. Michael, who runs the paranormal website allnewsweb.com, said: "This is highly compelling footage that will be hard to discredit. "It comes from an area known for experiencing intense UFO activity. It is rather apparent that aliens are interested in this region due to its biological diversity. "The area was also the focus of a high-level Brazilian government investigation known as "Operation Prato", where the army was sent in to monitor and confirm an alien presence in the region. "The Brazilian government denied that there was an Operation Prato for years before conceding it did occur and releasing large amounts of files associated with it" Having obtained the footage, Michael, who is well-known within UFO and paranormal circles, was inundated with requests from Hollywood producers keen to use his proof. "This footage will be used in direct collaboration with an American film and will serve to highlight this as proof of this footage's veracity." - The Braz-alien rainforest: Is this creature pictured in the Amazon jungle a visitor from outer-space? Proof? A still from a video apparently taken by British tourists in Mamaus region of the Amazon showing an alien-like creature standing in the jungle. Alien environment: Children pose for the camera while, behind them, a bright light flashes (circled right) and what looks like a small being stands to the right of a tree (circled left) While the camera is focused on some young children, seen in the distance behind them is a silvery light. However, it is only when the eyes are diverted to the surrounding jungle does it become apparent that there is a small being standing side-on just to the right of a tree, appearing to arch its back. It is the 'unmistakable' form of an 'alien'. No explanation is offered as to what the light may be. While for many the images can simply be dismissed as a well-executed hoax, Mr Cohen, who runs the noted paranormal website allnewsweb.com, suggests the photos go some way to proving the existence of aliens. He said: 'This is highly compelling footage that will be hard to discredit. Just leaving his craft? The lone figure appears to arch its back, perhaps stretching, as the light flashes nearby Unexplained activity: The bright light is undoubtedly linked to the extraterrestrial, but what could it be? 4. Quote: LONDON - A MALAYSIAN student was allegedly drugged and raped in a London college by seven Russian men, including an intelligence officer, who have been arrested, reported a British newspaper. According to The Sun daily, the teenage girl, who is studying at the prestigious Bellerbys College in Greenwich, South London, was at a party on Jan 23 with other English-language students when she was drugged and assaulted by the seven men. As they raped the 18-year-old in succession, they filmed the attack on iPhones. The footage was retrieved by police when they arrested the men later. 'The incident was horrific,' the newspaper quoted a source as saying. 'Mobile phone footage has been recovered that clearly shows the girl to be under the influence of drugs.' The victim reportedly raised the alarm after staggering into a friend's room. 'She is distraught. She is very young and it is believed she was given a drug before being defiled,' said the source. Four men have been charged with the assault, including intelligence officer Oleg Vladimirvich Ivanov, 23. All four were aged between 22 and 26. http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking...ry_630281.html
  5. http://www.asiaone.com/Motoring/Drivers/St...204-105530.html A video of a 13-year-old boy driving an Audi R8, with the current price tag of $495,000, has provoked the local online community. According to STOMP, the citizen journalism website, the boy "seems to have driven the R8 on multiple occasions, with an external party at hand, making a recording of his 'exploits.'" The STOMPER who forwarded the video also observed that the boy driver "did not have his seat belt on" and "his line of sight barely clears the steering wheel." The STOMPER added, "Is it legal for the parents to allow their son to take the wheel without a valid licence?" Netizens in another online forum, hardwarezone, also expressed indignance that a 13-year-old boy was allowed to drive at all. One forummer argued that the 13-year-old boy should be reported in order to prevent future accidents. He cited several accidents that involved drivers in their twenties with fast cars. Some netizens have expressed disbelief about the incident happening in Singapore. However, AsiaOne observed the slight outline of an In-Vehicle unit in the video. Under the Road Traffic Act, a person has to be at least 18 years old before driving a car.
