Now suffering hitting the fender when I go over uneven road or bumps.. However It's only right side.. left is totally fine.. Front is less than 1 finger. Rear is around 2 finger.. Using a sport spring and stock suspension.. What Should I do? changing Tyre is out of the question.. Should I change back to stock spring or upgrade to adjustable?

The VW Beetle Fender Edition will rock you like a hurricane
FaezClutchless posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
The Volkswagen Beetle is an iconic car and some rock stars have probably driven them (especially the original Beetle). And now the German automaker has infused the rock and roll formula into one of its newest models, the current generation Beetle. Volkswagen will introduce a special edition Beetle at the Leipzig Auto Show and it will be known as the Beetle Fender Edition. The car was first seen as a concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt International Auto Show. The car will get several Fender-unique features which demonstrate its affiliation with the American musical icon. Many would know about Fender as one of the major producers of guitars and its accessories and many professional musicians such as Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix have used their products. The company recently expanded into the car audio business by teaming up with Panasonic to produce sound systems for Volkswagen. The Beetle Fender Edition stands out with unique interior and exterior styling. Its distinctively painted dashboard features the classic sunburst colour of Fender guitars, and the vehicle's interior is accented with colour-contrasting seams that complement the dash's colours. Beetle Fender Edition vehicles equipped with the 200-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four- cylinder TSI engine will receive seats with exclusive fabric inserts. Outside, all Beetle Fender Edition vehicles are painted in Deep Black Metallic and also feature brushed chrome exterior mirrors, 18-inch "Disc" aluminium-alloy wheels, bi-xenon head lights, and the famous Fender logo. The Fender Premium Audio System debuted in the Jetta GLI in the United States and the Beetle is the first Volkswagen vehicle in Europe equipped with the high-performance sound setup. Using proprietary Panasonic speaker technology, the system cuts through noise and other distractions with front dual-voice coil speakers to create a sound closely similar to a true, live performance. The Beetle Fender Edition will first go on sale in Europe and will be available in America in the third quarter of 2012. Photo credit: Net Car Show-

Want to install the side mirror with signal light n remove the one on the fender.

April 13, 2008 For this damage, he's asking for $18,000 Driver's shock as fender-bender leads to other party's claims for other parts, injury, loss of income By Christopher Tan A businessman was driving his wife's seven-seater Toyota Wish last November when he was involved in a fender-bender in a carpark in Sims Avenue. Little did he know that his insurer would soon be faced with claims amounting to nearly $18,000, which he and his wife have been contesting for months. He was reversing his car to make a turn out of the carpark when it collided with an approaching Nissan Sunny. It was a bump that resulted in dents on both vehicles, going by on-site photos he took. The 52-year-old businessman exchanged personal particulars with the other driver, and also gave him a written account of what had happened. He said the other driver, an insurance agent, assured him that he would refer the case to his insurer and 'leave lawyers out of it'. The businessman got his car's bumper replaced for $650, which he paid for himself. He thought nothing more of the accident. Then, on Dec 27, he received a letter from his insurer informing him that the Nissan Sunny's owner - the insurance agent's wife - was claiming about $4,700 in damage costs. She had engaged a law firm to make the claim. Damaged parts listed included the shock absorber, headlamp, bumper, wheel, as well as four days' loss of use. The businessman said he called the insurance agent. 'I asked him, 'What's going on? It was a minor accident. Are you trying to make money from me?' He said he was not aware. I was so angry I just hung up.' The businessman added that he and his wife went down to his insurer. 'We told the managers that they should have checked with us, because we had photos.' On March 6, the insurer wrote to say it would be accepting the claim. It also said that the no- claims discount of the businessman's wife was likely to be affected. Before the couple could recover from the shock, another letter arrived. The insurance agent, through a law firm, was now making injury claims worth $13,070. He was claiming for 'pain and suffering', seven days' loss of income, as well as medical, transport and legal costs. The businessman hit the roof. 'The claims were ridiculous,' he said. On March 16, he engaged a claims adjuster and private investigator to help refute the claims. The investigator found evidence which The Sunday Times was requested not to print as this may compromise the case. The couple say that they have evidence to prove that the claims are inflated. When asked to comment, his wife's insurer said the case 'is still under investigation'. Asked why it had informed her that it was going to settle the claims when the case was 'still under investigation'', the insurer did not reply. When contacted by The Sunday Times, the insurance agent involved in the accident said he was not aware his lawyers were making such claims. Asked why he did not report the accident to the police, since it is mandatory to do so for injury-related cases, he said 'it was only in the evening that I felt my neck was stiff'. 'So I went to the doctor to make sure no bones were broken,' he said. When asked why he did not report to the police afterwards, he said: 'Not sure.' Hi Nissan Sunny Owners, Just got my Sunny. It is the basic model, i.e. without the side mirror signal lights, etc. My side Fender lights (signal lights on the body) is orange color. I called TanChong regarding the insallation of the clear fender lights (about $42), but was told that they have no stock. They also mentioned that the socket or the fender opening needs to be modified. But TanChong will not do it for me. Anybody changed this before? My car is a Silver color, and I thought that the clear fender light would complement the body color. MS
