  1. Started this thread to discuss anything and everything on the above mentioned. Anyone using the Europace ETF1169A tower fan? Any FR on it? I intend to buy one.
  2. https://www.motor1.com/news/436526/car-mounted-ceiling-fan/ We can also say with some certainty that this three-blade fan is mounted into a fourth-generation Subaru Outback, judging by what we see of the car’s interior. If you’re thinking that doesn’t leave much headroom for passengers, you’re not wrong. Fortunately the fan spins slowly, and the blades have all the sharpness of an old politician drunk-tweeting at 2:00 am. It’s also completely useless in the real world. The fan is, too. In that respect, then, this is truly a completely unnecessary invention, but is it really? We spent a full 30 seconds scrolling through the 2,000-plus comments in this Reddit thread to gauge the opinions of others. A Redditor named GophawkYourself astutely pointed out that windows are loud and air conditioning uses more fuel, making the fan an efficient choice. Taking the concept to the next logical step, Redditor akak1972 wants the fan for a convertible. Akak1972, that’s an extraordinary idea and we think it would look exceptional in your Range Rover Evoque droptop.
  3. After watching this advert video, i do remember alot of stuffs/happenings during my younger days, and of course my family did have a KDK fan back then... Haha... i think will get 1 after my current cheapo fan up lorry, for nostalgic as well as reliability sake.
  4. The weather is so hot now, and have to WFH... and suay suay, the tower fan we bought just 8 mth ago, now cannot oscillate!!! So am looking at changing to another one. Does anyone have any good recommendation for tower fan(s) with the following requirements: Can oscillate min 60 degree. ideally 90 degree, and preferably not 180 deg (which I have another one that is like this; the fan takes too long to reach back the same location when oscillating. Can unscrew and take out the back cover to clean the inside, when it gets too dirty. Got local support, in case the fan breaks down. For #3, it's important, as we paid >$100 for a Xiaomi tower fan, bought via qoo10. Was working fine, and we use it at most maybe 3 to max10 hr per day, and then it just broke down last month. Tried contacting XiaoMi in SG an MY, and they just said the fan is not launched here yet. No support - paid or otherwise - at all... Thanks.
  5. Hi all, Thesedays, my aircon sometimes blow out warm air when engine is idling, but it will be ok when the car is moving. I suspect that the condenser fan is not running well. My question is, how often does this fan cuts-in and run? When I first on my air-con (while car is stationary), I realise that this fan doesn't run. Then it suddenly comes alive (together with another fan (radiator fan?) next to it) maybe 5 minutes later. Then after running for like 3 minutes, it will stop again....and won't come back on again until like 10 minutes later. How to check if this fan is performing as it should?
  6. for the pass few months, my KDK ceiling fan have been splurting drops of brownish liquid onto my wall. I thought my ceiling was leaking thru the bolts hole, but I have tried almost to dismantling the whole fan but found it dry all around. The blades was also dry. I wonder where does the liquids came from and it's like never ending supply! Anyone faces this problem>?
  7. bought this unbranded fan at $6.50 at the Expo Baby Fair last month ... was sold by a exhibitor who took up a lot of space selling prams and beds and carriers. ... sorry dunno the name liow... they just put a few tens of these fans(in boxes) inside a push trolley. on the poster label they say its " USB FAN" ... but turn out no USB port, only can use batteries. that is ok ... I can still accept. the first night I tried it out and placed 2 batteries inside and it worked. However, when my wife wanted to use it a few days later, it could not work. so I changed the batteries and it worked again. however, only after a few hours the fan stopped again - but we only 'on' it for lesser than 10 mins !! so at night I got home and opened up the battery compartment and was shocked when I saw that the batteries had already melted and water leaked from the batteries !! @^^^@#$^@#!@ jialat man ... how can they sell these kind of stuffs , esp when for baby use ... if nobody watching and the thing burn how ?? I am really surprised that big shop sell such dangerous stuffs.
  8. Noticed this morning. I on my blower without air con button turn on. Air flow was ok. when i press the air con button to on, it delay for a few second then can feel the cool wind. But when i try it another way round, i wisted the AC power to start the fan with the air con button engaged, it was ok. Park my car and try, with air con button not on but blower on, i press the air con button, the fan took a quite a few seconds before it was activated and tuen. Tried again with aircon button on, then follow by blow, fan on instantly. Something wrong with the air con?
