  1. First photo of the entry level EV from Tesla. It will be officially unveil in the next couple of hours. Stay tuned. In order to be as fair as possible, there will be a different queue for each region. And as a thank you to our current owners, existing customers will get priority in each region. Model 3 production is scheduled to begin in late 2017. When production begins, we will begin deliveries in North America starting on the West Coast, moving east. As we continue to ramp production, we will begin deliveries in Europe, APAC and right-hand drive markets. It is not possible to ship to all regions simultaneously because regulators in each part of the world have slightly different production requirements. Staggering deliveries in this way also allows us to provide the best possible customer experience. We recognize that everyone wants to get their Model 3 as quickly as possible. Our overarching goal is to maximize total customer happiness within the bounds of what is physically possible. Tune in to the Model 3 unveil on March 31st at 8:30pm PT on Tesla.com. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on.
  2. [extract] BMW has already introduced the new 3-series in Singapore. Soon, there might be a new variant making its way here, the 316i. Like the 116i, the new entry level 3 series is powered by a 1.6-litre engine that features turbocharging and direct injection technologies. BMW
  3. Alfa Romeo recently announced that the stylish Giulietta hatchback will soon get a new entry level model. According to the Italian car maker, this new entry level engine will be a detuned version of the 120PS 1.4 litre turbo unit, which is currently the entry level power plant. The lower power engine produces 105PS at 5000 rpm with 206 Nm of peak torque at 1750 rpm. It is speculated that Alfa did not choose the 1.4 litre naturally-aspirated Multiair petrol lump as the entry level engine due to its lower torque output. The new 1.4 litre turbo is expected to bring the Giulietta from 0 to 100km/h in 10.6 seconds before reaching a top speed of 185km/h. Coincidentally, the sprint time is the same as the entry level VW Golf 1.2 TSI DSG. The
  4. In Singapore, the current entry-level VW Scirocco is fitted to with the 1.4L Twincharged engine. However, a new entry-level 1.4 TSI (Single Turbo) model could be arriving in the near future as evident in its recent launch in UK. It is the same unit that powers the entry level 122bhp Golf. The European speced entry model benefits from a comprehensive list of standard equipment including a six-CD autochanger with iPod preparation, rain and dusk sensors, a multifunction computer and 17-inch
