Hi guys, Would like to know whether there is any thing that can be done to prevent my front wheels to be covered with the brake dust after a couple days on drive? Cause very often the car looks clean but the black front wheel rim just makes it so dirty. Thanks !

I fear for my kids, especially daughters. Sports company drops Filipino coach Rae Tan | The New Paper | Fri Apr 29 2011 Move taken as MOE investigates his role with schools here. AMID allegations of his past record involving molest, a Filipino sports coach here has been relieved of all his duties of training student athletes. He has been in Singapore on an employment pass since March 26, 2008. The decision to drop him was made by his employer, Mr Imran Mohammed Ali, 27, who owns the sports company Saga Coaching Singapore. The New Paper understands that this move was taken as the Ministry of Education (MOE) launched investigations into the coach's role with schools. Mr Imran hires three Filipino coaches to train six schools - including Sembawang Primary School, Anglo-Chinese School (Primary) and Guangyang Primary School - in a range of track and field events. On April 6, The New Paper reported that they helped students to clinch a total of 42 medals in inter-school competitions this year. Since then, it came to light that one of the coaches has had a troubled past.

http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking...ry_629254.html A FULL-TIME National Serviceman (NSF) was hit and killed by a truck driven by another serviceman in Jurong camp 1 early on Friday morning. Lance Corporal (LCP) Wee Yong Choon Eugin, a Signal Operator, was unloading stores from the back of the truck at 7am on Friday morning when it reversed into him. A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) medic attended to LCP Wee immediately. At 7.05am, an ambulance was activated to evacuate LCP Wee to the National University Hospital (NUH). LCP Wee was sent to the hospital at 7.15am and arrived at NUH at about 7.45am. However, he was pronounced dead at 7.59am. In a statement, the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) and the SAF extended their deepest condolences to the family of the late LCP Wee. Mindef added that they were assisting the family in their time of grief and were investigating the incident.

Hi Any good recommendations of a shop that will do a thorough job to get rid of all the dust mites/allergens/moulds etc? My toddler just developed this bad allergy and I tried DIY with HEPA vaccuum, change aircon filter, put charcoal/etc with no much success.

I've a 19-month old white Civic. I used to use Klasse AIO/SG, but for the past year or so, settled on Jeff Werkstatt AIO & Acrylic Jett. (Meguiar's NXT Wash replaced 3M which is getting expensive) I aim to do a 3-5 hr job on the car each week, but getting lazy. Once a fortnight is more common than weekly for me these days. I don't do quick detail in-between washes. Car is open-air parked day & night, plus near MRT circle-line construction, so it's dusty. By the end of two weeks, when I go to the manual car wash @ petrol station (pay $3 to save me 1-hr of wash), they cannot completely clean the car (can clearly see the grey stain. soap, thumb rub cannot remove). After many tries, I pity the china guy and told him it's OK. I've to use Jeff AIO to manually clean it. Can anyone offer any help? I've seen suggestions like below, any one care to comment? 1. use feather duster 2. rubbing sealant onto car panel cause static electricity cause dust to attract. to reduce static electricity, run water over car after polish? 3. dump jeff & use other brand?

Hi all, Recently i was looking around at Carrefour, i saw this product where it claims that after washing your rims, you apply the item on the rims, it repels brake dust and dirt. I was wondering if anyone tried such a product before? My car's brake dust is tremendous, 1 drive out and my rims are filled with them

Dear all, I just got my outer dust cover of my driveshafts replaced last friday(Mileage 40Kkms), lucky the bearings no damage. SGD$180 for both side, 1 hour job. I only get to know that the dust covers were torn after my tyre rotation at South East Tyres, went to AD but they were closed....so I got this driveshaft specialist contact from my friend's workshop. The address is Blk 21 Sin Ming Road #01-31. "ELITE DRIVESHAFT". I will post the name card tonight.

Later I found out that they will go to ur home remove some dust mite from ur matress then show u under scope. Dust mite r every where & v commom. So after seeing these insects on ur matress U will be shocked, that is when they will sell u cleaning packages costing a couple of K. Dust mite themselves r harmless but their dropping may cause u alergies. After being suckered a few K, U will feel like a fool cos u have beeen living with this mites all ur life but now someone conned u cleaning them up.

Happy CNY to all... Got the chance to meet up with relatives and in the process learned some new things. The one in particular is that there is such a thing as a Brake Dust Shield. (Pardon my lack of knowledge of such things) One of my uncle got a new Mercedes and apparently it is installed as a standard option. The benefit, no unsightly 'dirty' rims unlike my ride. Three days is all it takes turn my rims black. Quicker if it rained. Any one had any experience with installing an aftermarket one (if there is any)? If yes, what are the cost involved and does it really works? Reckon it may be a worthwhile investment especially for conti drivers who faced brake dust problems.

Hi, A few threads in this forum seems to suggest Zaino attract dust. But from www.cazcomp.com, here is part of the description for Z6 : "Super anti-static formula reduces dust and dirt pickup by up to 60%. " Anyone care to comment about Zaino dust-attraction level before and after Z6 ? THANKS !
