I was on the way to work this morning travelling up from upper serangoon towards yio chu kang. Usually this road is empty or at max 5 cars around 8am. Today it was packed on center lane. Tot some accident again. Ends up everyone move to lane 1, to my surprise a big SUV with a lady driver was driving at 50 - 60km/h!!! Damn road hogger! Drive so slow should go take normal road instead!

A tour coach driver who drove his bus onto a pedestrian walkway outside Changi Airport's Terminal 3 on Tuesday has been arrested for drink driving. A police spokesman said that the 48-year-old Singaporean driver had mounted a pedestrian curb outside the departure hall at around 7am. The bus, which had no passengers on board, did not hit anyone. Eyewitness Chia Xi Zhen, a 46-year-old housewife who had just returned from a family vacation in Australia, said: 'We were just about to leave the airport terminal when we saw the bus driving very near the curb. The car is an entry-level luxury vehicle worth about $30,000. The sports sedan is not short on luxury features such as leather interior, power moonroof, automatic climate control, a seven-speaker sound system, Satellite Radio, Bluetooth and HandsFreeLink. Could it be the car has any Facebook features for Zuckerberg to enjoy? The 26-year-old businessman has managed to gather a fortune of no less than $6.9 billion (according to the recent Top 50 Forbes, where he also came ahead of Apple CEO’s Steve Jobs). However, he is still far behind Microsoft founder’s Bill Gates, whose fortune is reportedly of up to $54 billion. Anyway, just so that we spice up the news a bit, it seems that when spotted in Palo Alto with his girlfriend, Zuckerberg was wearing the exact same shirt that he has sported a day before with a friend. Could driving $30k cars and not spending money on clothes be the secret to becoming a billionaire? We guess not. For example, one STI owner mods to about 500-600bhp but he still has the 50L tank.. How would he tahan the drive to malaysian assuming he has the dough for the gas? Isnt it very troublesome to stop at every gas station u see just to get it up to full tank? -

this afternoon, was turning right from marymount road to proceed to lornie road, was in front of the bishan fire station. i was in the middle lane and this merc, SJM 9**4 on the extreme right lane..saw his wheels moving out of his lane so gave him a slight horn..we are side by side, my driver seat is in line with his passenger seat (like half of his car is in front of me)... thereafter he signalled left and immediately switch lane, i got to jam brake to avoid any accident and gave him a loud horn..and this driver who is obviously in the wrong has the cheek to brake and slow down and i got to jam brake another time.. come on la uncle...GROW UP!!!

He said: "When I was sleeping, I heard the sound of an emergency brake and crashing! "So I woke up to see what happened! "When I got to the road, I could see two cars -- a Nissan Latio and a Jaguar in the middle of the street." According to him, the driver of the Jaguar was a woman in her 20s. No one was injured in th accident, said the STOMPer. STOMP is contacting the Police for more information.

PARIS (AFP) - - Women with high levels of a key sex hormone are judged more attractive by themselves and others, and may be more inclined to cheat on their partners, according to a study published Wednesday. University of Texas psychologists Kristina Durante and Norman Li found that women with high concentrations of the hormone oestradiol were likelier to flirt, kiss and have a serious affair outside an established relationship. In a study published in the British journal Biology Letters, the duo described the behaviour as "opportunistic serial monogamy" and not related to one-night stands. Instead, they suggested, such women were more probably being prompted to trade up in their relationships -- to find a better partner. Other studies of oestradiol have shown that higher levels of the hormone are closely linked to enhanced fertility among women. As a result, say some researchers, men have an evolved response that prompts them to pick up on telltale signs of the hormone's presence. High concentrations of oestradiol are associated with big breasts, facial attractiveness and low waist-to-hip ratio, with the result that men solicit such women. Durante and Li measured hormone levels at two different stages of the menstrual cycle among 52 women aged 17 to 30 who were not taking the pill. The women were asked to rate their own attractiveness and sexiness "compared to other women," their satisfaction with current partners, their willingness to engage in uncommitted sex and about their past relationships. Separately, a panel of men and women unaware of the experiments evaluated photos of the women, rating them for attractiveness. The women with the highest levels of oestradiol scored the highest across the board, and reported a greater likelihood of having a serious affair. They also reported a greater number of long-term relationships in the past. The study says that oestradiol-related attractiveness provides opportunities in the sexual hunting ground. Men are keen to find a sexier woman and women want to find a partner who is a better provider and looker. "Women have to trade off between having a long-term mate who provides continual material resources, and more physically attractive, short-term sexual partners with good genetic resources," write Durante and Li.
