  1. Bros, hoping for some opinions from actual users of Milwaukee tools. Growing up, most of the power tools used in SG are Bosch or Makita, with the odd Hilti or De Walt occasionally appearing. From the US youtube videos of DIY and car repairs, most of them swear by Milwaukee tools which specializes in cordless stuff like impact wrench. I recently realized that Milwaukee now is quite widely sold and distributed in SG, but once you buy a single brand of cordless tools, I will be locked into the ecosystem as the batteries are proprietary and quite expensive. Wonder any bros have tried and compared?
  2. Will SCDF implement one esp to Orchard Road shop owners, workers and Bukit Timah residents? All the above must have life boats and jackets
  3. I heard or have read somewhere that there's a vacuum function in a powered hand drill.. and that when drilling, all the dust will be vacuumed into a compartment built-in in the drill. Anyone knows and come across this kinda drill? I wanna get one.. Thanks
  4. Fire Evacuation Drill : Beware, It Might Be Your Last Big companies and offices in high rise building often conduct 'Fire Evacuation Drill' once a while to get it staff to familarise with the fire safety ....... But with the recent recession, this drills might be your last drill ....... Subject: Last Evacuation Drill In a large multinational company.............. A fire alarm rang at 4 pm in a large office when almost all employees were in office (approx 5000). As usual the entire office was evacuated within 3 mins & all employees gathered outside the office in the designated area, waiting for further announcement. The Security Officer in charge made the following announcement: "Dear employees - with sincere regret I have been asked to announce that for many of you it will be your last evacuation drill. Due to the recession, the company is laying off almost 50% of its employees. So when this announcement finishes, I ask all of you to move back into the building and if your swipe card does not work then it means you have been laid off in which case you will not be allowed inside and all your belongings will be couriered to you by tomorrow. The Company has used this innovative approach as we didn't want to fill up the email box with lay-off mails and good bye mails in thousands & also to avoid any fight inside the office and the consequent security issue for all staff. Hope you have had a rewarding career with us and all the best ahead. Please move back in & try your luck. Thank you". So, if the fire drill is activated, please double checks before leaving the building .......
