  1. Saw this powerful quote from someone who post this on Facebook and decided to share. In life every thing we want to be equal, but there are some less privileged human who are being dropped out to being not enjoying as much as others if everything else being equal. So perhaps at times we actually neglected those who are far worst off then us and we should actually provide them not just equal opportunity but lend a helping hand to help them succeed. What say you guys?
  2. Just realised that my kiddo son, while seated in the rear, pulled the seat belt full length and now it doesnt retract...... kan ti tu.... anyone has any experience on this and how u resolved it eventually?
  3. Speed doesn't kill. Well - it does - but in nowhere near the numbers we're told and not in the way the authorities would like you to believe. It's common sense that higher speed will make any accident more violent, but higher speed does not cause the accident in the first place. The police and governments should be spending more time on educating people to drive properly and pay attention - less loss-of-control or inattention accidents would be the result of that. They should spend more time making pedestrians responsible for their own actions instead of blaming drivers. That would reduce the pedestrian culling. They should spend more time and resources banning cellphones and arresting drivers for drunk and drugged driving - all major causes of accidents as supported by dozens of reports. But speeding remains the lowest fruit in the tree and consequently the easiest one to pick, even though it's the single least responsible line item for the cause of accidents. According to these reports, speed is neither a contributing nor definite factor in the majority of road traffic accidents. Nor will reducing vehicle speeds necessarily lead to any reduction in accident rates. interesting so thought to share... can read more in the link... http://www.carbibles.com/speeding_facts.html
  4. Hi All: I am driving a Aveo sedan (before the Aveo5 version) recently I went to my car to collect something from my boot, I used the remote key to unlock the key (disable the car alarm) and after collecting some stuff from the boot, I believed I slamed down the car boot. When I tried to lock the car using the remote, it didnt work. I though my battery failed and hence went and changed the battery, didnt work also. Now the remote key lock and unlock is not working. I can still manually open my car door. but the usual central locking failed as well (meaning from the driver sid, i used to be able to lock and unlock all car doors) At a suggestion of a friend, I tried to unplug the terminal to my car battery for 5 minutes and plug it back, didnt work as well. Any other suggestion before I have to send to car workshop to check? thank you
