[extract] The all-new Dodge Dart was revealed at the recent Detroit Motorshow and according to Motor Trend, the SRT team is preparing a hot SRT4 performance variant. The model will feature an aggressive body kit, a sport-tuned suspension, larger alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. Based on the Alfa Giulietta platform, the SRT4 is expected to be equipped with the upgraded version of the Giulietta Cloverleaf's six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Engine options remain unclear at the moment. Since its main rival, the upcoming Ford Focus ST will be churning out at least 247 hp and 250lb-ft or torque, we can expect the Dart SRT4 to do more than that.
