I recently bought a external hard disk backup plus seagate 3T after 2 weeks it die on me and cannot be read because it is now RAW had to go to a data recovery centre the questions are: 1. are there any reliable reports on the most reliable hard disk for consumers (not talking about hard disk to be used in NASA space craft) 2. if yes what brand - Lacie 3. backup sounded a bit ridiculous, used a backup drive to backup another backup drive 4. most company writes life span of 5years but warranty only 3years 5. backup with DVD - any issues, backward compatibility thanks nope the answers provided will be useful for others too

Is disc rotor universal? As long as the hole and diameter match? For example, 5 x 100 296mm can be used for any make and model which is using the same spec?

I have a rusty rotor..... it is getting on my nerve. I know it is normal for the contact area with the caliper to be rusty.... But my whole rotor is freaking rusty including the area that is joining the wheel hub. I just change my stock rotor to "Brembo After market" and it freaking rust badly. Can anyone recommend me a shop that does painting for the rotor. thanks

hi, may i ask if anyone here has upgrade from stock rotor to drilled/slotted type. able to share the experience? does it really helps in braking? i'm using performance brake pad, FF grade. and what does port/pod refer to? sometime i see like 4 pod, 6 pod. if i not wrong, bigger the better. always a common sight for performance car. which mine is not, but i more ks. thus taking safety seriously as i enjoyed speeding too. please enlighten

Hi bros, Do anyone ever experience your Xbox360 that cannot read any disk? I bought the set and its working all the while.... Kept it in the drawer for 1/2 a year and then wanted to play a game... It just did not want to read any of the game disks that I have bought! I bought the Laser lens cleaner but it also fails to even read the disk... So no way to clean the lens.. I also updated the Xbox360 via the Xbox live server but still the game set did not read any disk... Any bro out here had a solution to this or ever experience this and have managed to find a way out? Most appriciated..

Hi Bros, My laptop is IBM X61. At Windows Explorer, if I right-click "Properties" on C drive, the laptop will tell me that I have used up >126Gb of disk space. However, if I were to select all the folders and files in C drive and right-click "Properties", the total file size is <71Gb. So, there is a discrepancy of about 55Gb of disk space. It can't be due to System Restore, since I have disabled it. How do I recover the missing disk space? Thanks

i saw at Parkway the disk cover...don't know is it for back tyres only or what ever...it cost 30 bucks for 2 covers...i think it should be for the plate inside the rims...they come in various colours, aluminium plated...anyone got tried this?

Hi, Has anyone had this problem regarding this on their aveo5 and i got my car only about two weeks ago, within 5 days i when back to replace my disk rotor and brake pad. They response back to me was that a stone might had went in to it or due to your design of your sport rim and they also mention is outside their warrantly when you do not use their Rims.Only by looking at your disk rotor without taking out the wheels or inspects further. Anyway, after some e-mailing to the Service Manager he asked down to had it check and they found some like metal chips inside the brake pad and manage to replace it for free,But i still got this problem back again after replace it for two days only, but this time is not ask bad you had seen in the attachment, slighty groove on the disk rotor. Pls advise. Thanks Dicky

Notice that on higher spec car, the manufacturer almost always use rear disc brake wherelse the lower end model will be using drum brakes... Is disc setup superior than drum setup? What are the advantages/dis-advantages?
