http://www.desispy.com/technology/we-didnt-do-anything-wrong-but-somehow-we-lost-nokia-ceo-steve-ballmer/551817/ Nokia has been a large and respectable company. They didn’t do anything wrong in their business, be that as it may, the world changed too fast. Their rivals were too capable. Other companies like Samsung, Sony, Intex, Lava, Micromax comes up with advanced features to attract the audience in Mobile Industry. this is a very very expensive and painful lesson even singapore is doing well today we must continue to excel and change else we will be left behind and obsolete

Didnt know Tokico Shocks are much more affordable
Hondasteam posted a topic in Maintenance & Repairs
My friends driving civic fd 1.8l & Fit GD1 just fixed up Tokico shocks, total cost including labour is only approximately $4xx nia. I was quoted nearly $6xx for KYB shocks early this year for my stream, up from $5xx quoted last year. Total damage is more than $7xx with labour !!! Anyone knows what is the difference between the two brands? Too bad I found out Tokico does not carry for Honda Stream....sianz- 9 replies

Interesting Transcripts of Mr Low Thia Khiang's... (ts' note: SAF Vet League sounds like the name of a certain group of people, not retired military personnel) Quote: John Andrew 11:47am Oct 25 Interesting Transcripts of Mr Low Thia Khiang's speech in Parliament on 21 Oct 2011, which I am sadden we hardly get to read from the papers, WHY???? Mr. Speaker Sir, In his Address, the President stated that our shared goal is to create a better life for all. Sir, we share this goal. We also agree that economic growth is basic to improving our lives. I do not think anyone of us here expects money to drop from the sky. Singaporeans are pragmatic and mature enough to understand this. The Presidential Address also provided a broad outline on achieving a better life for all, from the young to the old, from the lower income to those doing exceptionally well. All these are aimed at achieving a happy and fulfilling life for all Singaporeans. It is therefore puzzling that some PAP MPs made a fuss when Sylvia Lim said that the government should bear in mind that happiness should be the ultimate aim of its policy goals. Besides normal economic indicators, we should consider other indicators reflecting the happiness and well-being of a society, as articulated in the United Nations resolution initiated by Bhutan and supported by Singapore. hi all, I m sure, many others recv the same cheques that i hv gotten from a huge local bank. it came in as a form of "pre-approved" fund transfer cheques, to my name and ready for banking in to use. So whats the problem ?? Six mths ago i recv the same cheques via post, seeing that I dun need this , so i just tore it and dump away. Suddenly, a NEW fund trx acct line , with my name + acct number, pops up in my cc statement. Wait a min, i didnt have that acct !! After calling the cust svc, it was claimed that this acct existed due to those cheques, and is in an inactive state as i didnt bank in. Boy, I was pretty mad, its like sending me a pre-approved cc without my application / knowledge. He quickly offered to remove that acct no. from my future statement (ie it wun appear anyore !!) I told him off and gave him 7 days to remove it from my acct ( not just erasing it from the bill !!). Now case closed ! Ytd, I recv. the same 3 cheques again ! Immed. i called the cust svc again, and they claimed that there is NO way for me to stop them from opening new fund tfx acct for me ! Here, are what they are doing iaw MAS guidelines (opening pre-approved fund transfer accts w/o owners knowledge/agreement) ? Any bros in the $$ ind can help / advice ? ty ty mice

On Tuesday morning, I was happily driving down CTE towards city for work when I passed by the AMK Ave 1 ERP gantry. Then a long 'beeeep...' caught my attention and realised there wasnt any deduction on my cashcard. Damn! I pull out the cashcard form my IU and re-insert it into the IU. It reads the cashcard and I continued my journey. At Braddell gantry, again a long 'Beeep....'What???? Again the ERP didnt deduct from my IU. I call LTA hotline when i reach office told an operator on the matter. Later the afternoon, a technical officer called me and said the gantry detected no cashcard in my IU. What the @#$%&?. I insisted that my cashcard was in and the IU had indicated the cashcard was inserted and ok. She said LTA will send me a letter and I can appeal thereafter. Tiu... Wednesday. Deduction no problem at both gantries and other gantries in the afternoon. Thursday, I made sure my cashcard was reading fine on the IU at AMK Ave 5 before the gantry. AGAIN at AMK Ave 1 gantry, ERP failed to read my cashcard. Jin tulan.... reinserted and same thing, IU read cashcard with no problem. Braddell gantry there was a successful deduction. Emailed to LTA on this. Today. Itchy finger me, didnt insert a new cashcard that I bought and insisted to use the 'old' one which was only 4 months old. BOTH GANTRY DIDNT READ. KNN...... What is the problem??? My cashcard is rather new and no problem using it any other gantries. My IU indicated cashcard was in and reading fine but the ERP gantry couldnt detect my cashcard. Is it the IU? the cashcard? or the gantry overloaded with so many deductions per day that it went kuku?
