  1. read from the internet on such product that can extent the battery life for 3x longer. Anyone tried b4? if really can extent 3x, that means, the battery can use at least 5 yrs liao! wish to get a unit but dun want to increase my junk collection. If you came across such product, please provide your comment here.
  2. Just DIY a desulfator to be tested on a spare battery. Total cost less than $15 and all parts are available at Sim Lim Tower. So far, the testing showed it is working but the effects on the battery will have to wait as it can take as long as 4 weeks to get the results. The tips and circuits diagrams can be found on the following message board: http://p198.ezboard.com/bleadacidbatterydesulfation Have fun and keep the soldering iron hot.
  3. Video: Scary deposits. It prevents the built-up of lead sulfate crystals by constantly providing a weak current to the plates? The lead sulfate deposits slowly kills the battery by reducing contact area between the lead plates and acid?
  4. http://www.homepower.com/files/desulfator.pdf Check out this page about lead-acid battery desulfators: http://www.shaka.com/~kalepa/desulf.htm If you can build it, you got yourself a longer lasting battery. If not, you can buy it. I think there are desulfators selling online. Actually his ready built units are on the website. http://www.shaka.com/~kalepa/desulfparts2.htm A bit ex compared to the commercial Powerpulse or Solargizer.
