A video of a Hyundai i30 nearly driving into a cam car has been uploaded on Facebook. But who really is at fault? Watch the video to decide. Watch the video of how the incident unfolded here: In the video, the cam car is casually driving straight down Eunos Road, when the Hyundai i30 seen dashes out, almost causing himself a massive T-bone. Luckily the cam car driver was quick enough to jam brake. The cam car driver then turns to the right lane, and according to him, proceeds to get hounded by the Hyundai i30 by getting tailgated. Extra irritation and frustration was caused to the cam car driver due to the Hyundai i30's loud exhaust. From the video, it really looks like the Hyundai i30 driver was at fault. But what if I told you there was another side to the story? According to this facebook user who was at the incident, he claims that the cam car had signalled left, therefore it was the cam car's fault that he proceeded to go straight instead. He also goes on to accuse the cam car (who was apparently driving a Mitsubishi Attrage) of having 'offended him in the past'. A bold claim if true. It certainly brings another perspective to the saga. Another commenter made a fine point against the cam car driver. He pointed out how the cam car driver was also being reckless by suddenly swerving to the right, most likely not having checked his mirror doing so. So it seems that this case might be an ambiguous one. Although it seems like the Hyundai i30 is clearly at fault in the video, the netizen, if his claims are true, would paint the cam car driver might not turn out to be the saint that he is. Regardless of who is most at fault in this incident, we feel that the Hyundai i30 driver could have waited for the cam car driver to turn into the left lane (if he was actually signalling left), before coming out of the side road. This is an extra step of precaution that would make things safer for everyone. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. With so many videos of serious car accidents circulating around lately, you would think that drivers will learn to pay more attention on the road. Well apparently not for this reckless BMW driver who obviously has no concern about safe driving. Watch the 31-seconds video here and try not to rage: What happened? According to the caption of the video, the incident happened at Sembawang Road at around midnight last night. In the video, we can clearly see that the light has turned red at the 0:11 mark. Drivers and riders that can be seen in the video had either stopped or were slowing down when approaching the traffic junction. With the green light in pedestrian’s favour, the cyclist started to make his/her way across the road as would any of us. Just when the cyclist made about a quarter of his/her way across the road, SEVEN (7) WHOLE SECONDS after the lights had turned red, a BMW can be seen speeding on the middle lane into the frame of the video with NO ATTEMPT to slow down or stop. What the hell? Tragedy Strikes The speeding car smashed into the unsuspecting cyclist before coming to an abrupt halt. The high-speed impact sent the poor cyclist flying from his bicycle and onto the cold hard floor nearby. The video then ends with a nearby motorcyclist approaching the scene seemingly to render assistance. Online Chatter My exact sentiments! Who the hell approved this f*****’s license?! Clearly you are not suitable to be driving if you are BLIND AF. Umm, okay… I, for one, believe that there is no reason ever good enough to have such blatant disregard to road safety at the (possible) expense of innocent lives. If you want to die, don’t drag others down with you la please. Wtf, where the sauce bro?? I have seen my fair share of NON-BMW and MERC who were behaving recklessly on the road as well. It’s not the car, it’s the driver la. Last but Not Least Like what the comments above say, road users PLEASE, for the love of God, exercise caution whenever you are on the road – especially the helpless pedestrians. The green light may be in your favour but some people, like this BMW driver, have issues distinguishing between green and red or may possibly be distracted. Let’s all pray for the cyclist and that the reckless driver gets his/her due punishment! Stay safe and be safe everyone! ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Join us today!

TL;DR – A cam car driver took to social media to shame a Subaru WRX for playing a brake check game with it. The driver even noted down the number (7 times) of brake checks performed by the WRX. Plot twist, the cam car driver isn’t so innocent either. The Facebook Post on SGRV Upon watching the video and reading the caption, one cannot help but think negatively of the Subaru WRX. Then you watch the video again, and you realise there’s more to it than what you see at face value. Here’s the video. The spark that fueled the fire Upon realising it was on a right-turn only lane, the cam car driver cut into the path of the WRX. Perhaps cam car didn’t signal its intention? Perhaps cam car did an abrupt lane change? Perhaps cam car was too near the WRX? Could be a myriad of reasons. But we can conclude that it triggered the WRX to act. Not just once, but SEVEN times On Count 7, cam car pretends to drive on a right-turn-only lane to throw the WRX off and changes lane at the last minute, but the WRX was ready for it and abruptly changed lane too. Online Chatter Sounds legit. Yes, both of them were driving recklessly. No argument about it. Schooled by a WRX. Naise. Very close. But, while most people would honk at cam car and calm their inner beast, the WRX driver went another way. When you post a video as a victim, but people call you out as one of the culprits. That’s golden. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Join us today!
