my incident today actually reminds me of a thread here once about a fellow MCF getting charged $20 to jump start the car... I had a puncture today... while walking towards my car saw the rear wheel abit flat... Just rotated my tyres 3days ago n I knew must be the last puncture I had that was very close to the side wall must hv given way... Wanted to chiong to the nearest petrol station to pump and then rush to my tyre shop... But when I shifted my car to another side of the slip road, the tyre was almost flat. So I decided to call AA and wait for them at the coffeeshop nearby cause got a few pretty meimeis there... Its was Balestier... You never know... But that's a different story... Anyways AA came, used a cig lighter plugged in pump and pumped my tyre n I zoomed off to the nearest tyre shop opp quality hotel... Didn't tink I could make it to my preferred tyre shop... the guy at the tyre shop looked as unfriendly as can be... i told him my rear wheel bolt gave way before pls becareful.. he said if spoilt bo pian... i told him again just becareful... he took out my wheel and told me cannot fix.. and showed me the hole got hissing sound... earlier on didnt hv... but watever... so i told him to get me a cheap old tyre any brand check if my size hv a not... he said he go check... i smoked while looking around his shop.. when i turned to him he was abt to dismantle my tyre.. i asked him hello how much you never even confirm with me... he said $70... i said no thanks i want something like $20-$30 i will use for a few days only... he said dont hv... so i said thanks pls put back my wheel and just charge me gong qian for watever he did... he fixed back and then tols me $8... i said so much ah?... he said its standard... i paid and zoomed off... $8 really standard price to check for air leak meh?... i fixed a puncture before at circuit road $5 only... arghhh.. when i passed Lavendar i could feel the tyre soft alot liao... so i made a detour to H tyre... got a Kendar or dont know what tyre looks pretty new.. paid $50 for it wash my 1 rim balance etc... while waiting went to view all the rims there... wah... backside itchy again... haha... should i just get 4 new tyres?... or might as well with 4 new rims... will be cheaper abit and my rims old and got deep scratches on 1 of them and light scratches on another... anybody know of any good offer for tyre and rims now on?... pls share, many thanks!

This kuku stay in US but talks a load of crap. ST forum not enuff letters to print except for this foreigner's letter about local politics? Shameless!!! ST Forum Mar 26, 2011 Singapore has priced honesty correctly AS THE general election looms, ministerial salaries are once again being discussed with renewed vigour on various Internet platforms. My view is that the current pay structure is appropriate for Singapore simply because it is the price of honesty. We have had a government ranked among the highest for being corruption-free. There is certainly no need to grease any wheels in Singapore to get things done: That validates the strategy of pricing 'honesty' appropriately. Of course, this then begs the question why the price of honesty is so much lower in other comparable countries with a relatively honest government. Surely, the price in such countries should not be vastly different compared to Singapore? There are, however, several plausible reasons for this divergence.

Just an opinion to share. Usually we asked someone to install led light either at boot or interior , did you ever see how he tap the current from your car? From my installer, who do up my 4th brake led light, he cut my original brake light (bulb) wire and tap power from there, then he use wire tape and warped it up. Is this correct ?
