i dunno what to say... banned from driving for 5yrs but posting out liao.. ban for wat  http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/S...ory_670713.html A JAPANESE financial controller was fined $6,000 and banned from driving for five years for causing the death of a motorcyclist in a road traffic accident. Goto Shobun, 37, pleaded guilty to negligently causing the death of Mr Ting Ee Boey, 50, while making a right turn from Lornie Road into Thomson Road on Aug 23, 2009. The court heard that he had failed to keep a proper lookout at the signalised cross-junction and encroached into the path of the motorcyclist who was proceeding straight from the opposite direction. Mr Ting died about 14 hours later of head injuries. Shobun's lawyer told the court in mitigation that the accident occurred as a result of a momentary lapse of concentration. He said his client, who has a law degree in Japan, has a spotless driving record, and is due to be posted out by end-month. Shobun could have been jailed for up to two years or fined or jailed and fined for causing death by doing a negligent act.

something for those who have studied history...this was taken during my trip to europe about a month ago...long history of this palce...not much of it pretty...many jews died here and this camp was home to many sick medical experiments which are still debatable today even though they saved many lives due to those jews sacrificing their lives for the betterment of medical science... Road Leading to the camp... this is the building which inmates 1st saw before entering hell.. every person who went thru this gate always remembered that word "ARBEIT MACHT FREI" which means "work sets you free" yeah right... originally a munitions depot...this place was transformed overnight to a slaughterhouse for jews... :sigh:

Met up with business client, ans once again we talk-kok about the price of stuff and how to get the best value for money in things we buy. He operates Toilet cleaning business, and he feels that he need to come up with some method to justify the cost-vs-value on his detergent/soap chemical supplier He feels that although some vendor can sell him cleaning chemicals cheaper, it may be more diluted or less effective in cleaning. For example, its difficult to know the dilution level from the flow of the liquid soap, as the vendor may well add in some thickener chemical to create the 'thick=concentrated' perception. The powder detergent also can add in some flour or powder to dilute its concentration. It won't be easy to discover if the vendor has diluted the detergent by 20%, and then offer the selling price 10% cheaper compared to other competitors. Any chemist out there knows of a measuring meter that can measure soap concentration or cleaning strength? Any comments?
