For some strange reason, the kind people over at Jeep Chrysler gave me the keys to a Jeep Compass 1.4 last week. It was the first time I was given a non-BMW (and non-BMW related) car to review for a really really really long time. This was the first time I've driven a Jeep. Buy an umbrella u dumb a s s. Feb 24, 2011 No proper rain shelter at Compass Point THE recent wet weather has highlighted that there are no continuous rain shelters at some public places, posing an inconvenience to the elderly as well as parents with young children. An example is the taxi stand in front of Compass Point shopping mall in Sengkang. Can the relevant authorities provide a solution to this problem? Lau Quek Hong

Went to Compass Point and saw that Kia is having a roadshow there. Heard it's there since Monday. On display are 2 new models, the 1l Picanto and 3.5l V6 Sorento. The Picanto is going for like $200+ per month for 10 yrs, and Sorento, $600+ per month for 10 yrs. The Sorento is such a huge monster, one will need to stand on chairs just to clean the roof. With such affordable price, I see a lot of interested folks surrounding the Picanto. I din bother to get the price list cos' not interested in them. Are there any catch to the prices? Sounds too good to believe.

I won the compass for the "Car Exchange Network " quiz. But it is not convenient for me to collect the compass. Anyone wants the compass? I can forward the email to you so that you can redeem the compass " on my behalf " (of course you'll get to keep it). The collection point is at Anson Road, International Plaza.
