Dear all, Any feedbacks on this tyre? Thank you in advance!

I just changed 4 shock absorbers (front are Thai made Tokico and rear are japan made original Nissan) for my Nissan Latio. However, I am still feeling that the ride is still not comfortable (can feel every bump on the road). This is the same as before changing the shock absorbers. Anyone know if this mean the new shock absorbers are not good or is there something else I need to change?

I drive a Merc C class and my mum complains of pain in her legs due to the seating position. She prefers an upright seat with firmer seats. Does anyone have old folks in their family and have chosen cars based on the comfortable seating position for passengers? I'm guessing SUVs or MPVs, but look forward to any input.

Assuming as it is. That is, CPI remains at exactly like this for the rest of your life. Yes, comfortable is subjective, driving a BnB maybe comfortable to some, but not to others. This I know, so it's up to your own definition. Not trying to judge or anything. I'm just curious about the level of expectations for the people in this forum. For me.....I think $120K should be quite reasonable. You don't have to reveal what you chose if you don't want to.

Added: I wonder what most of the 'comfortable' will mean. I don't think having a stable of cars with the likes of Ferarris and Lambos are considered comfortable. Those are closer to opulent, no?

I am driving Latio, spring changed to NF 210 lowered spring, absorber original. Previously wanted to go low for more stable, however currently need to ferry elderly and children so priority is comfort. So which option is better? 1 Change the spring back to stock, absorber remain 2 Change the absorber to fit the NF210, not sure if this opt will get a comfortable ride 3 Change a full set of spring and absorber, any recommendation for a comfort set? Or is there any other better chioices?

Hi all, When I was reading tyres/tires review/feedback both in MCF and other websites, I realized that many drivers who opted for performance tyres are actually very concern about road noise and comfort. Tread wear is another thing but to lesser extent. Aren't low profile and performance tyres supposedly to be noiser? So if we buy performance tires, they must also be quiet and comfortable? Sometimes I wonder if this has something to do with the car insulation but apparently, these folks are driving some premium and supposedly heavy conti made who made the most "noise" . What do you guys think? Regards,

Hi All, Any good and reasonably priced recommendations for tire change for my profile? I was looking at LS2000 and quoted $165/pc. Good price? BTW, now on budget cause might want to change cars in less than 1 year so do not want to spend too much on tires. Thanks in advance for your feedback and recommendations!

Family monthly incoming $4k to $5k, what car is comfortable?
Quantum posted a topic in Japanese Talk
I have a China friend just got class 3 Licence and his wife got class 3A licence too, he plan to buy a car, wanted me to recommend suitable Japan family Car, I propose Latio but he prefer Civic FD, IMO based on his monthly family incoming $4k+, and family members, it is quite tight to afford Civic FD , family member: my friend couple + 2 school age kids + Phili maid, and 5R HDB flat. How your thinking -
I had the experience of driving with 14" stock steel rims, 15" light weight rims, and then 15" non-lightweight rims. I must say the 15" non-lightweight ones gives more stability when going over humps and felt more comfortable when the car is going over uneven roads. Below are some of my observations: 14" stock rims = proves to be the most stable and best comfort for driving, but cornering not good. 15" light weight taiwan rims = quality not so good. least stable. going over humps was horrible. 15" normal weight SSW rims (arn 6 kg)= good quality rims and very stable. able to take humps and bumps better. My question is, does light weight branded rims like OZ or Gramlights offer the same if not better comfort than normal ones? Thinking of changing to 2nd hand branded oz or gramlights to shave off some of my FC. I'm more for comfort than performance. Comments please?

Hi! there, everyone, To drive well, concentration is paramount, your immediate attention is on what's in front of you and all around. Through experience, you'd be able to recognize, what constitute danger to your safe passage along the way. The most important thing to do, when you get into your car, is to get comfortable. Concentration will be affected, if you are not comfortable at all. For those who drives fast, you need to be comfortable and able to reach all the controls. Most people have the steering wheel too far away. The palm of your hand should be able to run right around the top of the wheel rim, only then can you get the lock on and off quickly when cornering fast. Make sure you can operate all the pedals cleanly; that you can depress the clutch fully without having to stretch, that your shoes aren't so broad that they foul the pedals. If you get back or neck ache, your seating position is wrong and you need to re-think it, even to the point of getting a special seat or a dished steering wheel. Rgds Paul Yong
