A article in the papers mentioned how 'unclean' utiensile in public eating places can be. In fact, chefs' sweat/hair etc is likely to be part of the ingredients in the food. Toilets in these places are clearly not world class in terms of hygiene. The workers (chefs, kitchen-hands, waitresses etc) use the same hand in the toilet, kitchen, handling your food, passing the utensile (while holding the parts which touch the food which goes into your stomach) to you etc. We may say our stomach has been trained and no prob and why worry? Maybe its about time we bring our own utensile? I have seen few pple already doing it.
