Why?? Our world is such.... A Saudi court granted a couple's divorce after a woman accused the man of leaving his mother and family to be with her. The Saudi Gazette reports that they had no problems as a couple but that the way he treated his family bothered the wife. She told the judge, "I can never trust a man who does everything to keep his wife happy while he denies even a small favour to his mother." The woman said her husband, 29, took care of her, giving her expensive gifts and trips abroad. However, the woman felt that "a man who is not good to his own mother cannot be trusted. He may turn his back on me anytime in the future." The man was reported to have been in deep shock. He would do everything to keep her, he told the judge. He asked her, "Didn't I abandon my own family for you?" "Yes, and this is the very reason I want divorce from you," the woman retorted. The divorce was granted after she returned the dowry from her husband. http://www.asiaone.com/asia/woman-divorces-husband-choosing-her-over-mother

wanna seek some advice in choosing a new coat of paint, Currently is on blue but slightly toward purple; previous owner I'm not a white person as i don't like to polish the car.. Black, i tried but realized i'm a lazy bugger who will only send the car for a wash every few months.. so it look terrible Matt colors, tried and it suit me well. The only complain is that it wears and tear easily.. especially at the front bumper area where prone to stones/sands.. I read that silver cars are the best, keeping it classy, less heat and best of all, despite few months of dirt, it still look great. Red is sexy, fits the sedan but not many cars can carry Red well.. somehow, it make me fury too. I'm looking at frozen colors, in case, its not available any other colors that i could look into? please share.

How do you rank your priority when you choose your present ride... or the next one? What do you really want in your car? For me, the priority changes depending on the needs of me and my family for the next few years I have to live the the car after the purchase, current car is as follows, not sure about the next car yet: 1. Above average power / handling (TC/SC will be added advantage) 2. Looks and function (flexible loading capacity like MPV/SUV/Stationwagon type) 3. Reliable (to the extent it's trackable) and good resale potential Not that important: 1. Space 2. Image Are yours different?

Hey pple, thinking of getting a 2nd hand car with budget at about 30k. preferably not more than 4 years old. have done some research for the past few months and came up conclusive with a few shortlisted. 1. Suzuki Swift 1.5A/1.3A 2. Chevrolet Aveo SS 1.4A 3. Mistubishi Lancer GLX 1.6A 4. Honda City 1.5A 5. Hyundai Getz 6. Toyota Yaris 7. Nissan Latio i would like to ask if the difference in fuel consumption is really that big if you are comparing probably 11-11.5km/l. does the 0.5km/l has a great effect? as ive been reading many reviews, these cars have arguably small difference in fuel consumption? also whether the power to weight ratio is the main factor to the pickup and performance of the car? would like to ask your opinion on which car is the best among those listed? i'm currently having the swift as my first choice as it seems to have the best performance and value for money compared to the others. though the getz and aveo are relatively cheaper but it seems to me that the getz is largely underpowered. is it true? is it worse than the sunny or better in terms of power? im also rather dumbfounded at why the aveo has such a high depreciation rate? it is available at cheaper than the swift! the only thing about the swift is that i heard it has rather small interior space compared to the rest. is the interior of lancer much better than the swift? is so, is it comparable in terms of value for money and performance wise? im currently experienced in driving a sunny 1.6 EX and looking to get an improved drive for the 2nd car. hope to hear some opinions! =)

What is your consideration when choosing the type of paint protection for your vehicle? Sealant? Wax? and of course why?

Is it theoractically If i possible should one day lup a VQ35DE up from the 23DE is it legal?I've heard engine swap can only be of the same engine cc, otherwise would be a engine mod, aka impound. I saw someone mention on mcf about a Mazda 3 lup from 1.6l to a 2l engine.Because im not sourcing the VQ35DE from Fairlady 350z but from the 350JM. Since the J31 has three engine lineups QR20DEVQ35DE,VQ23DE and the 230JM chassis is the same as 350JM Do i just have to pay more road tax +etc or a outright ban? Quite skeptical of this as i really wish to improve performance of the 230JM as like what Ryosuke Takahashi said, every engine has its limit. No matter how far you tune it it will one day reach its end of lifespan. It would also lead to greater performance gain I do not wish for anyone to look down on me and say si ginna why are you building castles in the air as i really will be forgoing poly for ITE because ITE only has Automotive engineering course that allows me to get more hands on approach on tuning and maintaining cars.and even sacrificing my lunch money to buy car magzines to learn .In every possible fyi my lunch money is only $6 for a 16yr old kid.If i am deemed to be a keyboard warrior by the old birds, please do not forget that i have given my utmost consideration to performance-fuel loss and legal binding laws.I do not wish to circumvent and cheat laws, and will duly pay up any road tax evaded by any form of engine cc gain and maintenance. What my passion is is to tune cars. Constructive comments will be highly appreciated Once again, i wish to all MCFers, a very happy new year 2009 and all the best.

1. I'm seriously looking at moving to a HDB unit. But wonder which is a choice estate to live in? 2. I drove to Potong Pasir just now, I find it quite a pleasant estate though looks kinda old and in need of some facelift, otherwise should be quite liveable I thought. I find those units facing the Kallang river or should I say big drain seems not bad . Got park connector to Bishan Park also not bad . I like smaller and quiet estate so will not consider big HDB housing estates. Those that are far away from town area will also not be in my consideration too, preference would be those along NE line. 3. Coming back to Potong Pasir, those low rise units seems attractive. I found those living on the ground floor having a "private" garden amusing. They really planted fruit trees with plenty of assortments of floral. Is this a good or bad thing? Some even have garden furnitures ! One big issue is the rubbish chute that is built so near to the unit, I wonder smell and croaches will be an issue or not ?. All comments welcomed. Thank you very much! Regards,

Thinking of either Dunlop LM702, Falken ST115 or Bridgestone GIII. Are there any other tyres around the same price and/or performance as the above 3 tyres? Appreciate if anyone could share on their experience with these tyres. Thanks!!
