Yesterday i checked exchange rate for Aussie dollars was 1.266.. I needed to change AUD600 to pay some upfront the apartment i will be stayin when in perth. So i went to this money changer at bedok central near the interchange.. the blardy indian man told me 1.31! i said but i juz bought a bankdraft a day before from posb at the rate of 1.2758 and was at 1.266 dat morning! The all the stupid reasons he mentioned about buy n sell different la dis la dat la.. i got no time to go to other money changers to check around for better rates.. so i juz changed there.. after dat i calculated the difference.. aud600 i used sgd786 to buy at the rate 1.31, when it shud hv been 762 at 1.27.. so i paid extra sgd24! Two things i need to know.. 1) are money changers rates always exchange at different rates from banks? 2) bros here have any 'more honest' money changers to recommend?

Hi guys, just went down to the carpark and could not start the car. Most likely is battery flat. Called the car workshop that i visited before and they are charging $180 incl. labour charges of $30 for coming down to change. Is the price reasonable? Dont want to be a robert thats all. Thanks.

Is there any cd/DVD changer available for panasonic model cq-vw220w?. Went 2 audio shop they told me not available for this model. After looking at manual , seem no input for any changer. Anyone can help n advise ?

This money changer at Parkway, the Chinese shop very big one opposite Yakun, always do tricks on me. me "How much is Ringgit?" he/she "2.41" me "Thank you" and about to leave he/she call me back "How much you wanna change? I give you 2.41005" me "DUH!" and walked away. Yes! My eyes didn't play trick on me, there were a lot of "0" yesterday me "How much is HKD?" she "5.51" me "Thank you" and walk away she "How much you want? I give you 5.5100005" This round I buoy tahan and scold her... "you think I wanna change a few million dollars ah? crazy!" not once, twice but many times... yeah, I kena once still wanna go back cos everytime I walked past they sure jio me then I go in check check lo...

Hi fellow brudders & sisters.... i need some help...i just collected my skoda fabia 1.2TSI....stupid SE promised CD changer but no claim that she cannot find any aftermarket place that is able to install a CD changer for me...she say nobody know how to do CD changer for my car... I would like to know if you guys are able to recommend or know of anybody that is able to install a CD changer for my car... Thanks

hi all, I recently got some problems with my cd changer. When my player tries to read, it will display error. The disc seems ok, cos when i try to play direct from headunit it appears to be working. What do you guys suspect could be the problem?

Hi guys. Hv a sony explod 10 cd changer v old model. Yesterday was driving & listening to cd when suddenly went over bump rather hard & after that the cd stop playing. I thought juz off on the hu or eject then reload the cd magazine can already but it totally cant load the cd. hv tried diff cds in diff slots always will show load for long time then time out. Dont want to chg or buy new changer as car scrapping in 2 yrs. Any ideas. Can repair or any resetting of changer can b done? I tink must b the vibe fr the bump?

Hi just want you guys to be aware of tis chinese money changer in one of the shophouses row near toa payoh hub. There are 2 side by side but i am toking abt the one on the right. What happen was i went there to have lunch and needed to change some NT$. As it was abt 1.50pm in the afternoon on a friday, many abnn money changer all went for prayer so i stumble into this one. As there were 2 side by side, i went to the one on the right first and ask the rate for NT$. He say 21. i say ok and went next dorr. Before i can ask the rate, a customer infront happen to change 200 sing of NT$ and i hear hin quote 20.85. So i thot if thats the case, i just go back to the first one. So when i was back in 1 min, i said i want to change 1.5k of NT$ and the money changer say its 20.5. I replied him that he quoted me 21 one min ago. So the MC say 21 is if he buy NT$ from me. i thot what the %@#%, how many customer will ask the rate to sell NT$ / buy sing. Moreover, i am a local.SO he said nevermind, how much beside shop quote he will give me better. So i said its 20.85. Then he say cannot be so high and after calculation, he say give me 20.87 so i say ok. So we exchange cash but before i leave, i just check the receipt and the rate given to me was 20.855. So i was pissed off by his dishonesty and trying to cheat customer again and again and this is the first time i encountered something like this. i confront him and he try to act blur then gave me the correct amt and quickly want to serve next cm. Its not a matter of the few dollar but more of i cannot stand this kind of dishonest money changer so fellow MCF memebr please beware.

Is there any other after market 2-DIN MP3 HU that has built-in changer ? I only know Clarion has one. Recently saw the Ford S-Max has a Sony HU with that feature, but can't find in Sony web site.

Need some advice...Is it worth to invest in CD changer? or Ipod or other USB media? I believe CD changer has the best SQ among the three but seem like not so popular nowsaday. Cost of changer is also not cheap.

Hi, My ride is Aveo5 (2005). Recently I have replaced the stock HU with Sony CDX-GT550 and added disc changer. I noticed there is a significant difference in sound quality and clarity when I played music CD in the HU and in the Disc changer. Music played from HU always sounds better than from Disc changer. I am using similar CD and equalizer profile when playing from HU and from disc changer. Is my observation above normal or is there a problem with the disc changer? -

I'm looking for a cheap used 2nd hand Pioneer HU to replaced my current DEH-P4550, which is having problem loading/unloading CD. The 12 CD changer is still working fine (loaded with VCDs for kids to view). I prefer the DEH-PXXXX HU series, with CD Changer control, that can also play MP3 (CD-R, CD-RW), so that it still can work with the current CD changer.
