Hi all, 2nd car, bought new. COE, Insurance, Road Tax start on same day. Have been paying & renewing for 3 years. Then for past 1 week, have been trying to pay road tax renewal (6 mths) at onemotoring / AXS came back with insufficient coverage period. Has LTA change something in their system? Called LTA, lady says require insurance coverage for 1 more day. Called insurance, extend coverage need to pay. What is going on? Anyone experienced the same issue? Did you pay for the extension?

I am looking at the Aviva My Retirement Plus. In the illustration when one pays 16K for 10 years then receive an inflation adjusted payout of 1K/mth until 85. What will it happen if the holder decides to stop paying the premium at 5th year when migrate to another country? Surrender with a big loss, or receive a pro-rated payout according to the premium paid and schedule, or what other exit strategy can the holder take? I wonder whether there are any easy and hassle-free retirement savings plan where the buyers can put in money as they wish and the interest increases with the time the $ stays in like the SSB then after retirement the payout also follows some automatic prearranged schedule, and most importantly, removing insurance agents' cut?

hi Does this new rule affect Singapore registered Cars with LTA approved window tints ? --------------------------------------------------------------------------- https://www.todayonline.com/world/foreign-vehicles-dark-window-tints-cannot-enter-malaysia KUALA LUMPUR — Foreign vehicles with dark window tints will not be allowed to enter Malaysia. Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprawi said the Road Transport Department (RTD) will be instructed to carry out the directive as dark window tints were a clear danger. This is in response to concerns that the foreign vehicles entering the country might bring in drug traffickers and Islamic State militant group. “RTD will take immediate action in barring foreign vehicles with dark window tints from entering Malaysia.“Those entering Malaysia will have to remove the dark window tint of their vehicles,” he told the Dewan Negara today in reply to Senator Abdullah Mat Yassin. The issue of car-window tinting, mainly to reduce glare and help control the temperature inside the vehicle - has been divisive for many years. Malaysian motorists who tint their car windows and screen must adhere to Rule 5(1) and Rule 5(3) Motor Vehicles (Prohibition of Certain Glasses) Amendment 2000 - a law that has been widely ignored. The permissible tint levels are a minimum of 70 per cent visible light transmission levels for the front windscreen and 50 per cent for other windows.

Very interesting article. https://jaxenter.com/learn-to-code-its-harder-than-you-think-122738.html I totally agree with it. I did join the computing club when i was in secondary 1. Found it too tough, i just couldn't do even simple programming. My brain isn't just wired correctly to do this. My wife did computer engine. By her own admission, she's at best an average programmer. But even then i think her logical processing at least in terms of computing is way beyond me. So good coders/programmers is still something in very short supply and a skill like learning surgery or being a pilot.

Which animals are better behave ? Yahoo : Zoo meerkat expert sentenced over assault on monkey handler LONDON (AP) — A former meerkat expert at London Zoo has been ordered to pay compensation to a monkey handler she attacked with a wine glass in a love spat over a llama-keeper. A judge at Westminster Magistrates' Court said Wednesday that Caroline Westlake must pay 800 pounds ($1,235) to Kate Sanders for assaulting her in a dispute over colleague Adam Davies, who had dated both women. Judge Jeremy Colman also sentenced 30-year-old Westlake to 12 months community service for assault. The judge said Sanders had suffered a "nasty" face injury in the fracas at a zoo Christmas party on Dec. 8. Westlake had claimed that Sanders punched her first, and said she did not remember hitting her colleague with the glass. She was fired by the zoo after the incident. link : https://sg.news.yahoo.com/zoo-meerkat-expert-sentenced-over-assault-monkey-handler-155618685.html Now she is out of job. I don't mind she is my keeper ....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_sclerosis Girl Who Can’t Feel Legs Due To MS Pursues Dreams Of Running Track Joseph Milord Source: http://elitedaily.com/sports/kayla-montgomery-champion-track-star-video/864139/ Kayla Montgomery is more than a high school track star. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis four years ago, Montgomery has almost unfathomably defied the odds to become a state champion long distance runner. Her success, however, does not come without a cost. Because of the disease, Kayla cannot run without experiencing the heat triggered symptoms of MS, which include loss of feeling in her legs. Because of these symptoms, she is not able to come to a full, concentrated and calculated stop after she finishes a race, leaving her to resort to falling at the finish line, where her coach is there to catch her each time. Still, she has made her mark as one the top runners in the country. For as good as her résumé is as a competitor, though, her story is even better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_dMrFx1mlE
