  1. Edmunds.com, an American online resource for automotive information, pitted the fresh-from-the oven 2013 Lexus IS250 against the Cadillac ATS 2.0 and the compact luxury segment leader, the BMW 328i. The IS250 is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre V6 which is good for 204bhp. The 328i and ATS are both propelled by their respective 2.0-litre direct-injected, turbocharged four cylinder which produces 240bhp and 272bhp respectively. This is the third generation of the Lexus IS. However, will it be third time lucky against the BMW 3 Series?
  2. The 2013 Detroit Motor Show has started on a positive note for Cadillac as the ATS sedan has been named the North American Car of The Year by a jury of automotive writers. Finalists for the title include the 2013 Honda Accord and Ford Fusion sedans. "This is a very meaningful honor for the entire Cadillac team, especially the men and women who build the ATS in Lansing, Michigan, and our dedicated and talented designers and engineers," said Bob Ferguson, GM vice president, Cadillac Global. "A car like ATS is the result of incredible commitment and focus. That's the only method for creating a great performing luxury car." The Cadillac ATS is compact luxury sedan designed to take on the likes of the BMW 3-series and Audi A4. The ATS is offered with a choice of three engines, namely a 202bhp 2.5-litre, 272bhp 2.0-litre turbo and a 3.6-litre V6 with 321bhp. These engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. A diesel engine will be available in the future. The ATS is based upon General Motors' Alpha platform and is offered in either rear- or all-wheel drive configurations.
  3. [extract] With the launch of the 2012 BMW 3 Series, BMW has further cemented its position as the leader of the compact luxury segment. However, that was before the Cadillac ATS sedan went on sale. The Cadillac ATS was specifically designed to compete with the BMW 3 Series. In fact, this is Cadillac
  4. Cadillac was named as a 2012 Customer Service Champion at the J.D. Power and Associates Customer Service Roundtable in Orlando, Florida. To qualify for inclusion, a company must excel within its own industry and stand out among leading brands in 20 major industries evaluated by J.D. Power. The 2012 Champions were picked based on customer feedback, opinions, and perceptions gathered primarily from J.D. Power's syndicated research in 2011. "We're in the midst of a mission to enhance every interaction a consumer has with Cadillac," said Kurt McNeil, vice president of Cadillac Sales and Service. "We are strongly committed to customer satisfaction, and appreciate this external confirmation of our efforts." Earning this accolade is not without hard work. The American luxury carmaker has implemented changes to enhance that luxury customer experience. In addition, they have also conducted comprehensive experience training for dealership personnel and created an improved program of owner benefits called Cadillac Shield. The shield plan includes pre-paid scheduled maintenance, roadside assistance, OnStar and a myCadillac smart phone application, among many other various services. The Cadillac Shield program also covers the vehicle for 5 years and 100,000 miles on the powertrain, and 4 years and 50,000 miles bumper to bumper. The award certainly serve to enhance Cadillac
