  1. How can one stop motorists from making too much noise with their engines? Someone in Malaysia reckoned that building speed humps outside his place will work. As seen on an article by Mothership.sg, Nor Muhamad Roslam Harun, who lives in Besut, Malaysia said that the exhaust noises caused by the vehicles disturbed his sleep. So the 40-year-old, who was "depressed" due to this, built 11 speed bumps to slow down vehicles travelling past his house. The bumps which stretched across a 40m stretch of road cost him RM1,080 (S$354.83) and it was from part of the i-Sinar Employees Provident Fund. For those who aren't in the know, the i-Sinar fund are for workers who are self-employed and had their business suffered due to COVID-19. Soon, the humps pissed motorists off and he had to remove them after videos of people using the road went viral. As explained by Roslam, he originally wanted to build lower speed bumps. However, the asphalt hardened too fast, resulting in higher and bigger speed bumps. He has since apologised hired the pros to level all the speed bumps, including the additional two that were on the road originally after the police advised him.
  2. A case of alergy? From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg..._after_she.html Posted on 27 Jan 2012 Her face broke out in pus-filled bumps after she used facial mask STOMPer Kerol used a face mask after reading several good reviews about it. The STOMPer was shocked when she later broke out in pus-filled bumps that covered both her cheeks. The STOMPer wrote: "I think this is really important to share with all women out there, who purchase facial products by believing what the packaging states. "Recently, while reading Cleo magazine, I saw this brand B.liv which claims that it tightens pores, anti inflammation. "They even have a few girls stating reviews like they have really sensitive skin but this mask was really mild to their skin. "Furthermore, I went to their website to check out their review and it sounds really convincing. Thus I bought one of their hydrating masks called leach me. "Yesterday morning my skin was feeling dry, so according to the instructions, I applied the mask for 30 minutes. "At first I did feel a pleasant result as it did tighten my pores which it claims on the website. Then later, I started having a few small breakouts around my nose and chin area, soon my whole face was inflamed and many tiny bumps with pus covered my entire cheeks. "This really caused a lot of frustration for me. The inflammation occurred when they stated that it was anti-inflammatory. "I was thinking that ok maybe I was the only unlucky one who happened to be sensitive to a certain ingredient in it. "Until my friend told me her boss who tried B.liv Immerse Me mask had the same problem that I am facing. I got so mad and sent an email to them and also posted a review on their website to warn other girls. "The I discovered why they had only good feedback on the website; the bad ones will not be approved by them to be posted up."
  3. Experience the above with my Octy. Anyone else has this? I believe its just some loose bolts underneath. Have not had the time to take a look.
  4. Hi guys, Saw a previous post about "clok clok sound" and suddenly realised "hey I got a problem too! " Few months ago, I kept on hearing a "croke croke" sound when I drive over some bumpy roads or over the humps. And I felt my shock absorbers getting stiffer and ...140K liao. Should be worth to change. So I changed all four of them. But after changing .... I still hear the "croke croke" sound leh. What else can be changed? Sounds like a big fat rod is loose or something. Mostly the sound comes when the front tyres hit the humps or bumpy roads. But rear also have loh.... haiyah...how ah? Any advise? Going to see my mechanic this sat. He always think I change every part of the car liao. Everytime service the car, change this / that fluid/oil.... Sometimes a little bit of sound I also ask him to sit in a drive around. Scared this sat, if I can't find a hump or bumpy road near his workshop, then I cannot reproduce the sound. Appreciate any advise. Thanks
  5. My car is producing clunking sound when going over bumps.. Its on the rear right wheel.. I don't know what might be the problem yet.. It doesn't make noise when I try to bounce the car with my hand.. I suspect its the exhausts hooks might be loose, or something to do with struts or bushings.... I guess have to bring it to the mechanic to find out.
