  1. Hello all! I'm having a dillema here. So i bought Phoenix rh rak two piece rims, and decided that i want to powder paint them. To do that, i had to get all the bolts around the rims out, and i of course messed some of them up. Now searching for new ones, i cant seem to understand which ones i need. The original screws were screwed out with an M8 spline bit, but on a site i found, it says that phoenix rims use M7 bolts and most of what i can find on alibaba is M7 size too. Also, a hex M8 screw had a noticeably larger diameter then the M8(?) spline screw... i really have no idea what i need
  2. any shop that repairs thread of wheel lug bolt hole?
  3. Kudos to him for doing the right thing! Stopped an interview when the national anthem was played! compare this to an incident where someone was SMS-ing during the national anthem! that person shd learn from this!
  4. Hi all, What is the average price of front pair of camber bolt? One WS quote me SGD$100 for one pair of camber bolt. My front camber or toe was out of alignment.
  5. I am looking for hardened/heat-treated bolt and nut (black color) to replace my exhaust parts, wondering if anyone know which shop selling variety of this kinds of bolts and nuts ? Thank you.
  6. Or maybe legendary haolian? I find him one of the more colourful characters that make Olympics fun to watch. On one hand he can self declare legend, strike that silly pose and even tell his teammate beforehand he will win. But on the other hand he is really fast. That relay match looked like a close call until Bolt ran the final stretch. So what do you think of the currently fastest man on Earth? I also find that USA cannot accept losing. If others win, there must be some cheating involved. Only good thing I can say is they are not "racist" in choosing who to call a cheater. Asian or Black all kena labelled cheater equally from them.

  8. There are so many threads about the high COE and so many MCFers is complaining. There are equally about the same number of people complaining with the thunder bolt policies. However I did some serious thinking about housing, cars, living expenses in our country. Older generation do benefit however younger generation just to have to live with it. No matter the amount of complaining will do any help and just have to look yourself in the mirror why that you took the wrong career path 10 years ago. Many of the older folks (40s and above) which are the so called the pioneers in our country and had seen how Singapore grow. In the early days (1990) when housing are cheap, these group had already bought their housing and as the time flies, many of the older generation had been able to profit from the appreciating value of their property hence about to keep up with the economy. Like in my family (dad in the 60s) had been able to "profit" for the flat he had purchased and since my family had paid the flat in full last year, we are debt full and currently have assets of about $500,000. But in terms of cashing out and upgrading ourselves, we simply cannot play around with our only roof over our heads. But on the other hand, the flat had to be return back to the government, we are in a lost whether to do so to enjoy the fruits of the commercial decision if that the property climb again for the next 20 years or to suffer in silence if that we make the wrong decision. I happen to know a family during 1997 and had purchased a condo at the lowest and had benefit in paper value too. However the previous owner of the condo is suffering as during then when he purchased that flat taking a bank loan, evaluation dropped and he do not have the funding to top up the oustanding. I am holding back to purchasing a flat as during in 2004 when the COE is high, I bought a car. Stucked with it and unable to benefit the low COE released until early this year. Looking at those drivers driving around changing car one after another makes my eyes grow green but it was my mistake to sign on the dotted line in 2004. During then, without a car is without a job. If that we vote down the current policies maker now, we will stand a chance losing our asset in paper value hence not many will dare to go for the unknown. I am caught inbetween this as I am yet to be a flat owner so if that property market crash, then I were to come in with the pen to sign on the dotted line. However as we have an aging population therefore a larger group in the 40s~60s comparing with the younger generation 20s~30s. Therefore not much of us will be dare to take up the challenges ahead. Just look at the older people in your office, how many of them dare to step out from their office to start a new career and all they want is stability. Basically not much of us are able to take up the major challenges unless that we have the additional cash flow (Do you agree the rich becomes richer, poor becomes poorer). So for the people whom had made it, they have no worries and in general, they like the current system. And as for me, I believe that the income gap is still "managable" as asset from the old can pass to the younger ones (comparing with Russia you will know what is really the different between rich & poor). BUT, not forgetting we are rank one of the highest in "average Singapore Household debts". See link below. http://aussgworldpolitics.wordpress.com/20...pap-leadership/ Eariler years, many couples tied the knot at 25M/23F and using this normal prastice now, it is not possible for marriage therefore explains the aging population. For example, 25M/23F with combine income of $6000 tie the knot now do not even have $60,000 CPF savings and HDB cost about $300,000 at far end of Singapore. For the average male after serving 2 years & continue his studies and joined the work force (1year) earning $30000 per annual. CPF will have

  12. ESPN Associated Press August 16 2008 We Need This Bolt of Lightning Fresh from rewriting the record books again and capturing his first Olympic medal, running the 100-meter dash in a stunning 9.69 seconds, Jamaican Usain Bolt has captured yet another first - the attention of the eagle-eyed government of Singapore. Hours after Bolt's stunning victory, Mr Teo Chee Hean, Singapore's Minister for Defence and President Singapore National Olympic Council has proclaimed, "We need to capture them when they are young. And at 21-yr old, Usain Bolt is of the right age and potential to be developed for even greater glory." He continues, "It's the same like how we developed our table tennis champions. We see that they have potential to excel in the sports, we negotiate terms with them, offering them promises of better training and quality of life. Look at them now." Banging his fist on the table, he exclaims, "We will get him at all cost, money is not an issue!" Apparently, it does not end there we were told. As a reflection of their long-term vision, Mr Teo has this to say, "Sporting success does not come overnight, it takes months to monitor such players and entice them over, you think that is easy?" He adds, "Our future plans encompasses the importing of even more sportsmen - from distance-runners in Kenya, footballers from Brazil and the African continent, and if the price is right, swimmers from Australia and the USA." The new found optimism stems from the Singapore women's table tennis team breaking the island republic's 48-yr wait for an Olympics medal. The female paddlers, which some Chinese fans mistook and cheered as their own during the Beijing Olympics, is made up of players that were from China. Admist the roar of approval from newly converted fans of the Singapore women's table-tennis team, a supporter has this to say, "Hey, it's perfectly fine, our National football team already has a couple of African players, some angmohs (a local slang for Caucasians), and even two Chinese players, making up half the team!" Another fan shouts, "We don't care! As long as they bring us success, they are a part of us. I don't know why, I found them absolutely repulsive a few months ago, seeing them everywhere, but I love them to bits now!" Comments from the Singapore's women table-tennis team are not available at press-time as they do not speak a word of English.

I am actually looking for those bolt-on kind where i can bolt it onto the original tip. Reason being i do not want to cut off the curve portion of the original exhaust and have the new one welded on. Any bros can advise? Thanks.

  17. Bros and Sistas, Heaven has been very kind to me today...this morning kenna quite a bad traffic jam along Lornie Road After the road cleared up after PIE, it was smooth traffic all the way till after MacDonald's when I heard a loud "tud" sound. After that, I could feel there was something stuck to my LHR tyre...sxxt! Traffic was quite heavy there so if I stopped I would have made it worse. Decided to drive a short distance till I hit the junction with Commonwealth Road(I think) and made a left turn to a almost deserted 3-lane road. Made a stop to check my tyre. To my horror, I saw a size 13 bolt head sticking out of my 3-month old tyre. Over the years, I have my fair share of screws and nails, but this is the first time i kenna a bolt! Can anyone advise if the damage cause by a bolt can be repaired. Any good tyre shops around alexandra/bukit merah to recommend? Thanks!
