Hi guys, Need some advice on whether it's worthwhile to self import 5 series (G30) or X3 (G01) from UK to Singapore... I am looking at it purely from the perspective of cost savings. I have business there, so I am familiar with the import process (not cars though), the savings seemed to be quite significant, although there's no local warranty / maintenance included: 520i G30: S$150k-160k (vs S$240k+ locally) X3 G01: S$170k-180k (vs S$210k+ locally) Hopefully someone with experience can shed some light on this? My primary concern is the repair / maintenance costs of BMW, which seem to be the highest among continental cars, with the lowest reliability.

Look like 3 series, but not sure why they're camouflaged. The new G20 has come out last year. Anybody know anything? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O62BzQtFylE

Hello, i have a little problem after i did a stage 1 ecu remap my mpg has decreased significantly when driving in town i can see the km range drop every 5 - 10 seconds by 1 km example whan i start up the car i have 250km left on fuel and after mayby 5km of driving it dropped to 210,while driving very normal when driving on the highway and using cruise control it comsumes fuel normally (or even better?) does anyone knows what the problem is? its a bmw 520d - year 2010- manual - 163hp version i have asked the tuner to just push the engine to it's limits without dangering the car components i did not ask him anything about fuel efficiency could it be that he remapped the engine so i have non stop torque at the low rpm's (like 0 - 2000 rpm) if so, would lowering the torque from 0 - 2000 rpm will get me a better fuel efficiency? i have added a picture, these are the results of the remap thank you in advance

Hi, Would appreciate some advice here. Mine is a 2007 BMW 523i. A few days ago the warning light came on with "engine oil level too low" so on Sunday I topped up about 2L (maybe a bit more) of Shell Helix 5w40. Today when my wife drove it home the car started to shake badly, and after parking there was a lot of yellow/brownish liquid on the floor. I opened the bonnet and saw what appears to be coolant oozing out of the expansion tank. The tank cap still looked intact, though. The tank is a genuine BMW one and was replaced a few months ago only. As the car was still hot I didn't dare to open the expansion tank cap. Could this be due to engine oil overfill? But why would that cause coolant overflowing? Or the expansion tank or somewhere in the cooling system leaked (it seemed to be slowly leaking so I topped up with distilled water some time ago)? Could that cause the car to shake? No engine overheat warning came up, though. Any advice will be appreciated!

Hi I recently bought a 3 series that is on 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 wheels. Both tyres are XL. The current tyres are CSC5 but would like to know if there are other brands in this profile there that I can consider. Wanted to get Goodyear F1 A2 but they don't seem to come in XL.
