Here are some extra photos I shot during BMW World 2014 which was held from 1st August to 3rd August at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Decided to do something different for myself by shooting some of the cars in a slightly abstract way when I visited the show again with friends. I hope you guys like it! Anyways, for those who do (or don't), you can challenge yourself by trying to identify the models base in each photo. The BMW World isn't just a showcase for their latest model line-up. It's also a celebration of their past success in the automotive industry as well as providing the visitor an insight into their future. On display are a slew of the latest 5-series as well as the rather special looking 5-series GT. BMW also took the opportunity to launch the all new X3 at the event in front of the local media. The body design of the new BMW X3 conveys urban elegance and versatile agility. The combination of a flat front end and a high rear end produces, when viewed from the side, a dynamically formed wedge shape, indicating the vehicle's sporting characteristics. The convex and concave surfaces are accentuated by distinctive lines. Not forgetting BMW's own thrill-inducing products, there was a strong representation of the brand's motorsports division. On hand were the latest E92 M3 fitted with the competition package. Other 'M' representatives includes the X5M and X6M. The star of the show though was the M3 GTS making its first appearance in Asia. Besides the cars, the event includes many other entertaining activities that would persuade Dads to make it an outing for the little tikes as well. BMW has chosen an intriguing layout for the exhibition that keeps things interesting for the visitor. You will find many nooks and crannies that hide other fun activities behind their walls. Look out for the BMW GINA Light Visionary Model, a car completely clad in a flexible fabric skin, an optical expression of creative freedom to revolutionize the way we think about automobiles.
