just wanna share this FB post by a Mr Aaron Ichijyo. I largely agree with his opinions. Pops and bangs are very loud, they startle everyone around them, and they cause many people to misunderstand us car enthusiasts. Personally I've been startled by these before and i tell you for an old man like me, it's not a pleasant experience. therefore I feel for those who stay at the East Coast area and had to endure the irritating noise pollution. I don't mind loud exhausts but they should sound nice and not like those empty tin can sounds or these pops and bangs. if yours is a supercar or performance car that inherently produces such sounds.. I've got nothing to say since it comes from the factory and passed LTA homo before being allowed in SG. But if you're one of those who purposely go and (mis)tune your car to achieve that effect.. please consider to revert it back. st

Another hit-&-run case in Pasir Ris: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg..._the_scene.html Female Driver Bangs Into 2 Cars, Then Flees STOMPer interlink said a female driver hit his car at a multi-storey carpark in Pasir Ris on Jan 28. An eyewitness to the incident told him later that her male passenger took over the driver's seat and drove off. According to the STOMPer, he had parked his car at the multi-storey carpark and went to attend an event at a coffeeshop nearby. At the event, he coincidentally heard some people talking about a hit-and-run incident at the carpark and a friend of one of the organisers of the event had taken a photo of the incident. When the STOMPer looked at the photo, he realised one of the cars affected was his. He told STOMP: "The female driver of the grey car hit my car, the yellow Mitsubishi, and another car, a silver Hyundai, after coming down from the upper deck of the multi-storey carpark of Block 444 Pasir Ris. "She reversed after hitting the cars. "Her male passenger then took over the driver's seat and drove off!" One of the pictures taken by the eyewitness apparently shows the female driver standing outside her car as her male companion was taking over the driver's seat, before they both drove off.
