While waiting for my chance to enter the main road, I m being knocked from behind by a taxi in the morning. Things to note: At the time of accident, I thought there isn't anything about it. So I only got him phone number when I left. After parking the car, I called him back and he answered and cooperated by giving me his details so I can start a claim if you want. He pleaded to settle outside and even ask me to go back authorized work shop to get a quote rather than go to some car repair shop in ubi to get it one. By noon, he even chased me to get a quote so that he can settle ASAP. Car condition: Unnoticeable damage. Unless you are 15cm away under strong light, else you cannot see the dent. Slight paint chip. What will you do? 1) claim insurance. Change bumper + rent car for 3 days while it is in workshop 2) accept a $1000 compensation and u settle urself. Even if u decide to do nothing, he will still pay. 3) let him go n forget about it. Here is a person trying to repent, should I give him a chance by going option 2or 3. By going option 1, the claims will be at 8-10k. I am sure he will kena demerit point and affect his taxi career.

Hello bros, I'm looking to change car due to the high mileague (70K) and the fact that it is 2.6 years old. Ok I know that is a bad excuse Anyway now if sell off my car should be ard $50K, minus the loan and depreciation should get back around $20K. Looking at budget $80-$90K car at max, at least late 08 model (same as my car's age). Deciding between few options: as they seemed to be quite bang for bucks, ie. depreciate the most. Am I the only one facing this problem, or do I have company? The list seemed to grow longer by the day! Mazda 6 Teana Forester

hi all... need advice. Today saturday around lunch time, my odyssey's rear kanna kissed. no visible damage. nothing serious. HOWEVER, i was on the dotted full-day (red color) bus lane. in the short span of 2mins, a bus came and the driver inside ushered us to move away. (me and the other driver were exchanging contact details) he even flashed out his mobile phone to take pic of the "minor accident" Initially, i don't feel like reporting this accident even though i was the "victim" but what if the bus company escalate to LTA showing evidence we "block" the red dotted bus lane on a saturday?

Think again!!! A TEACHER with the Singapore American School (SAS), who was just half a year from retirement, died in an accident along Woodlands Avenue 2 while on the way to work early yesterday. The car driven by Mr Edd Brown, 65, hit the rear of a bus, which was understood to have been on the move. He died at the scene from head and leg injuries. A police spokesman confirmed that the police received a call at 6.30am about the crash. The driver of the bus has been arrested and is assisting with police investigations. Mr Brown, a father of two grown-up sons and already a grandfather, was an information technology (IT) teacher in the primary section of the SAS. He taught children in grades 1 and 2 and also kindergarten children, besides working with teachers on incorporating IT into their teaching. One of the school's longest-serving teachers, he joined SAS in 1995. That was the year he and his wife Pat came here from Saudi Arabia, where they had been working.

ONE Singapore girl backside cost S$3,500. Touch and Pay. No need jail. But if you are a Singapore guy, you will not be able to pay anything but government gives you 12months of FREE lodging in Changi. This is a benefit for those who have served NS and how our government admires your time spent in NS. SINGAPORE: A Malaysian was fined S$7,000 on Thursday for molesting a student and a woman. 25-year-old Sneah Pee Ren, followed the woman up a flight of stairs at Block 229 Jurong East Street 21 on 12 October 2009 and used his hand to brush against her left buttock. Three days later, the trainee chef molested a 15-year-old student as she was walking along Boon Lay Way towards Chinese Garden MRT Station. Deputy Public Prosecutor, Ruth Wong, told the court that Sneah reached out his hand and tapped the girl's buttock before running away. Sneah could have been sentenced to a maximum of two years' jail, fined or caned. However, in his mitigation, Sneah's lawyer, Low Cheong Yeow cited a report from the Institute of Mental Health. He told District Judge Javender Kaur that Seah is suffering from a psychiatric condition known as "frotteurism". This means Sneah has difficulty controlling his behaviour when he encounters members of the opposite sex. He will try to touch them for sexual gratification despite being aware of the consequences. Mr Low added that the molestations committed were "brief" and the victims' private parts were "not intruded upon". Because of these factors, he said that a "fine is sufficient punishment" for Sneah. The court also heard that Sneah has been undergoing therapy at the IMH after he was released on bail and his parents have been supportive in helping him with his condition. In handing out the sentence, the judge said the "intrusions were minor" and the incidents "stemmed from a psychiatric condition". She also believes that Sneah will continue with his psychiatric treatment. - CNA/vm

Hehe, me backside itchy considering a change-over to some sort of SPL-biased setup. Just want to ask what are the entry-level brands out there that are capable of pushing out high dBs without a huge sacrifice in SQ? I know it's asking for alot, but looking for speakers that can play loud, and play with reasonable clarity while doing so. Please don't poison me with high-end brands, cos I can only drool but not buy. Thanks in advance.
