Received this summon in JB for turning into a single direction road and was asked to appear in court for this offence. Have anyone encountered this before? Not sure if the offense stated is correct, don't understand Malay language. Any valuable advice? Do I really have to appear in court?

anyone went to this? Seven-time Formula One champion and living legend Michael Schumacher will appear at Paragon on Wednesday at 4.30pm as Mercedes-Benz presents his first-ever public appearance in Singapore. Fans, this is your chance to see the German up close during this special appearance. The event is being held in the build-up to the weekend's SingTel Singapore Grand Prix. What does he sound like in the flesh? How does he react to the watching audience? Is he cheeky when he answers questions? You will certainly find all this out if you make your way down to Paragon after your lunch. source http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/S...ory_715163.html 7 time world champion

to the above question: To me, this is an unfair statement Firstly, opp are not paid 15K/mth to manage the constituency. They have their own jobs and livelihood to take care of. What can we expect them to do, lobby for policies actively? Anything non-elected opp do is out of their own free will and free time... they may be doing something, or not doing anything.. we cannot make any judgement on that... and hey.. they are not even "elected MPs"!! Elections is the best times to focus and reach out to the masses.. which other time can give one so much coverage? Secondly, media gives priority to the ruling party, so what can we expect? Thirdly, the Ruling party should be the one that is present, as they are earning 15K/mth to take care of our constituency, I, for one, have NEVER seen my MP or heard about the MP coming around or reach out in my neighbourhood...

The President and CEO of Toyota Motor Corporation will address the American public regarding his company's most publicised crisis in recent years. The 53 year-old Akio Toyoda came into his current position during mid-2009. He has been invited by Congressman Ed Towns, D-N.Y, to testify at a congressional committee next week. "I have received Congressman Towns' invitation to testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on February 24 and I accept," Toyoda said in an e-mail statement. "I look forward to speaking directly with Congress and the American people." Toyoda's response is in contrast to his earlier statements that Toyota North America chief Yoshimi Inaba and his staff would handle any US hearings. He indicated that he would support them from behind the scenes. He was quoted as saying: "I trust that our officials in the U.S. will amply answer the questions. We are sending the best people to the hearing, and I hope to back up the efforts from headquarters...We are not covering up anything, and we are not running away from anything." The about-turn is welcome and should boost both investor and public confidence which have been waning since the recall problems concerning sticky accelerator pedals and Prius brakes first came to light. "Now that I have received an official request from the chairman [Towns]," said Toyoda, "I'd like to take advantage of the opportunity. I'd like to cooperate fully and try to explain our situation. The No. 1 thing in my mind is regaining the trust of our customers in terms of the safety of our vehicles."
