https://mothership.sg/2020/04/jamie-chua-ig-story-migrant-workers/ Singaporean socialite Jamie Chua has taken to Instagram Stories to apologise for an "insensitive" post she had made. Offensive post In the earlier part of Tuesday, Apr. 21, Chua had posted a photo of a cup of coffee saying that she woke up from a "disturbing nightmare" involving foreign workers rushing into her house. A screenshot of that Instagram Story was circulated on social media and forums. This story is no longer available. Another story, with the exact same photo, is visible on her account serving as a replacement. The photo replaced the previous captions with "self-isolation" and "I think I may need another coffee to stay awake today". Here it is: Apology post In a subsequent Instagram Story posted on Apr. 21 evening, Chua said the purpose of her earlier post was to explain how the pandemic has taken a toll on her mental well-being. However, she said she has come to realise that it was "insensitive" and "ignorant" after reading the comments and feedback from others. "This has been a big learning lesson for me," she said. She added that migrant workers are responsible for building Singapore, and "we should never undermine them". Chua also said that she has chosen two charities that support migrant workers, and would share more details on how to contribute in her subsequent stories. This is her Instagram story: Chua, who has more than one Instagram account, has over 1 million followers on the account where she had uploaded the original offensive post and the subsequent apology post.

I did a pretty bad overtaking from the middle lane to the slow lane around 10.20pm today while existing Woodlands Ave2 (SLE to BKE). I was in a shock and i believed the driver in the other vehicle was equally shock as well. Would like to apologize to him/her in the vehicle on the left most lane for causing this uncomfortable and dangerous situation so late at night. Very sorry about it.

To all road users on AYE yesterday, sorry if I caused any inconvenience or unhappiness with my driving. I was rushing back cos my 4-month old in the car was hungry and crying non-stop. I was trying to get out of the traffic so that I can find a place to stop and for him to get a chance to his feeding. Not safe to have him out of the car seat and have the mum feed him on the road... Was trying to get to a faster lane but as I was lane changing from lane 3 to lane 2 the vehicles in front was braking rather quickly, hence, I had to get back into lane 3 leading to a loud and long horn from a greenish blue nissan as he has to break hard as well. My vehicle was a white lancer with red plate. My sincere apology again for the inconvenience and displeasure caused. Regards, 2009k

SMRT's North-South line down again AsiaOne Saturday, Dec 17, 2011 Train services on the North-South line between Marina Bay and Ang Mo Kio were disrupted this morning since 7am, according to SMRT. This comes just two days after a major glitch affected 127,000 passengers during rush hour on Thursday evening. Passengers are advised to seek alternative transport or take bus bridging services provided between Toa Payoh and Raffles Place, and a shuttle between Marina Bay and Raffles Place. An SMRT statement said as of 9am, northbound train service between Raffles Place to Jurong East is available. http://www.asiaone.com/News/AsiaOne%2BNews...217-316710.html One day after apology, breakdown again. When will they ever learn? So what is the CEO going to say again this time?

of the people I have pissed off in this forum!!!.....please add your name here so I can apologize to you.... 1) Tiamno - for calling him an ass, he is not, he is just tiko 2) Throttle - for implying that he is haolian, he is not, he is just rich and capable As for RadX, actually he is a nice guy, he even PM me before offering me good advice on some issues but I think I had majorly pissed him off, so I hope by apologizing to him, we can let bygones be bygones and get along better in this forum. Of course, if what I did was unforgivable, I will also understand if some people still don't want to forgive me.
